An interbody spacer for the spine is provided. The interbody spacer includes a polymer cage and a plurality of bone screws configured to anchor the cage between two vertebrae of the spine. The cage includes a screw receiver configured to receive a metallic plate screw for attaching a plate to cover the proximal ends of the bone screws to prevent them from backing out over time with respect to the cage. The screw receiver has deflectable extensions that snap into cage to retain the screw receiver to the cage. The screw receiver also includes a transverse flanges that provide anti-rotation and alignment to the screw receiver relative to the cage and; furthermore, the screw receiver further includes a self-locking feature that increases purchase on the plate screw providing a secured cover plate for anti-backout protection for the bone screws.

Method of adding a postscript message to an email

A first party (e.g. educational testing service) provides through the internet to a control server information (e.g. test server) relating to a second party (e.g. a student taking tests prepared by the service). The server provides and may store a verification (e.g. an encrypted digital signature) of, but does not store, the second party information. The server transmits the information and the verification through the internet to the second party. The second party transmits to the server through the internet the information and the verification with a request to transmit the information to a designated third party (e.g. a college or university to which the student has applied for admission). The server authenticates the information through verification comparisons (or through comparison of the information with the reconstruction and decryption of the verification) and transmits the information, authenticated by the server and the testing service, to the third party.

The combined port is connected to a slave peripheral device that includes a serial port and an infrared output port. A system for reprogramming a consumer electronic device includes a consumer electronic device (CED) having a CED processor and a CED memory and a CED serial port connected to the processor, the memory storing CED processor instructions and CED data. The system also includes a download module having a download processor and a download memory and a download serial port connected to the download processor. The CED processor periodically applies a signal to the CED serial port. When the download serial port is connected to the CED serial port to make a serial connection and the download processor receives one of the periodic signals from the CED processor, the download processor initiates the download of one or more of download instructions and download data from the download memory to the CED memory over the serial connection.
