Concepts and technologies directed to an integrated telecommunications roadside unit for supporting vehicle-to-everything ('V2X') communications are disclosed herein. Embodiments of an integrated telecommunications roadside unit can include a processor and a memory that store computer-executable instructions that configure a processor to perform operations. The operations can include intercepting a vehicle-to-vehicle communication that is provided from a first vehicle to a second vehicle. The vehicle-to-vehicle communication can be transmitted using a direct transmission mode. The operations can further include encapsulating the vehicle-to-vehicle communication in a user plane package. The operations can also include routing the user plane package to a destination network access node, where the destination network access node is outside of a direct communication range corresponding to the first vehicle and the second vehicle.

Integrated telecommunications roadside unit

Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to vehicle-to-everything ('V2X') certificate management. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a system can receive a CRL from a security credential management ('SCM') system. The CRL can identify one or more certificates that have been determined to be invalid, such as when the certificate(s) has expired. The certificate(s) can be utilized by a vehicle for secure communications, including vehicle-to-vehicle (&#x201c;V2V&#x201d;) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (&#x201c;V2I&#x201d;) (collectively V2X). The system can format the CRL as a cell broadcast message. The system can then create a cell broadcast request directed to a cell broadcast center (&#x201c;CBC&#x201d;). The cell broadcast request can include the CRL formatted as the cell broadcast message. The system can send the cell broadcast request to the CBC to instruct the CBC to broadcast the CRL as the cell broadcast message.

V2X certificate management

Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to vehicle event notification via cell broadcast. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a system can receive an event message in response to an event. The system can extract information associated with the event from the event message. The system can determine an area of relevance for the event. The system can create an event notification message. The event notification message can be formatted as a cell broadcast message to be broadcast to a cell serving at least a portion of the area of relevance.
