System, apparatus, and method for dynamic channelization of group communications

In one example, a method includes calculating a signal to noise ratio of a captured audio stream, determining that the signal to noise ratio of the captured audio stream is lower than a predefined threshold, acquiring visual data of a source of the captured audio stream in response to the determining that the signal to noise ratio of the captured audio stream is lower than the predefined threshold, using the visual data to infer a sound that is being made by the source of the captured audio stream, indexing the sound that is being made by the source of the captured audio stream to a library index, and transferring the library index to a receiving user endpoint device.

Leveraging visual data to enhance audio reception

A resource upgrade predictor can be operable to receive, from a first network node device, traffic information. Based on the traffic information, the resource upgrade predictor can obtain network utilization data related to other network node devices having a similar interference characteristic to the first network node device. The resource upgrade predictor can use this network utilization data to determine a demand at which at least a defined value related to a transmission link capacity associated with transmissions between the first network node device and the user equipment, is attained. The resource upgrade predictor can also obtain projected demand data associated with a geographic area serviced by the first network node device, and determine, based upon the demand and the projected demand data, a time at which a network resource upgrade related to the first network node device, is to be performed.

A managed Wi-Fi service network device can receive, from a cellular network device, an allowable throughput rate at which a user equipment is authorized to communicate via a managed Wi-Fi service network. Based on the allowable throughput rate, the managed Wi-Fi service network device can monitor a communication rate of the user equipment via the managed Wi-Fi service network. In response to the user equipment communicating via the managed Wi-Fi service network at a rate that exceeds the allowable throughput rate, the managed Wi-Fi service network device can facilitate reducing the communication rate of the user equipment. Also, a user equipment can receive from a cellular network device an allowable throughput rate at which the user equipment is authorized to communicate via the managed Wi-Fi service network. The UE can communicate via the managed Wi-Fi service network at a communication rate that does not exceed the allowable throughput rate.

Adaptive throughput for user equipment communicating via a managed Wi-Fi service network

A call challenger can receive a user input from a called party identity to opt-in to a call challenge service, and a second user input of a keyword. When the call challenger receives a call directed to a user equipment of the called party identity, the call challenger can prompt the calling party to provide an audible response. In response to a receipt of the audible response, the call challenger can convert the audible response to a text. The call challenger can compare the text with the keyword to determine if there is a sufficient match. In response to the determining the output of the comparing does not satisfy a threshold match score, the call challenger can prevent the call from connecting with the user equipment.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, responsive to a first registration request to access a mobile network, determining whether a first phone number associated with a first IMSI assigned to a first SIM of a first mobile device matches a second phone number associated with a second IMSI assigned to a second SIM of a second mobile device, determining whether the second mobile device is currently registered to the mobile network, and, in turn, sending a request for authentication to register the first mobile device and to deregister the second mobile device, determining whether a response to the request for the authentication code matches an authentication code, and responsive to the determining the response matches the authentication code, registering the first mobile device to the mobile network and deregistering the second mobile device from the mobile network. Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments and a method. The method includes iteratively providing messages to each Node Processor. Each Node Processor represents a node of a group of nodes. The iteratively providing of the messages comprises providing first messages. Each first message includes a cost associated with a path of nodes visited by each first message. A selected path is obtained from each node having a lowest cost of a group of common endpoint costs for paths having common endpoints. A next group of messages includes the selected path. The iteratively providing of the messages results in selected paths. Also, the method include determining a target path from a remaining path. Other embodiments are disclosed.

System and method for predicting outputs associated with a future time series

When an access point device is aware of an internet access failure, the access point device can attempt to re-route the baseband content through a different access point for the purpose of using its hard-wired internet connection. An administrative function can allow the access point device to tunnel through the internet service provider (ISP) of another access point device if permission is granted to do so. The permission can be granted beforehand or it can be granted to on the fly. Consequently, if the packets cannot route via the normal, hard-wired path, a message to a secondary transceiver of the access point device can instruct the access point device to find an alternate path via the ISP of the other access point device.
