A device for connecting at least two lengths of trunking includes a plate for joining backs of base sections of the trunking. The plate has on each of its edges adjacent cut edges of the trunking base sections longitudinal tongues which bear on two opposite faces of each back. The tongues are substantially plane, have a thickness from about 0.2 mm to about 1 mm, and bear elastically against the opposite faces of the back.

Trunking connecting device

A housing for devices to be disposed along trunking, projecting from a wall includes a frame which is attached to the wall to form the housing for the device, an opening along one side which adjoins the trunking and a canopy which extends from the frame in corresponding relationship with the opening to cover the trunking locally and transversely. The canopy has a mobile part provided with two parallel arms which are slidably mounted inside the frame so that the mobile part of the canopy can be located relative to the frame telescopically in a series of predefined stable positions corresponding to different widths of trunking.

Housing for devices to be disposed along trunking, in particular electrical devices

An end cap for closing an end of trunking includes a closure part for closing an interior space of the trunking and a fixing part for fixing it to a back of a base section of the trunking. The fixing part includes a chimney for inserting a nail. The chimney is substantially perpendicular to the back of the base section and has a height substantially equal to the depth of the base section.

An end cap for closing one end of trunking, the end cap having a closure part for closing an interior space of the trunking and a fixing part for fixing it to a back of a base section of the trunking. The closure and fixing parts are connected together by a connecting part. The connecting part constitutes an elastic coupling which allows the closure part to move relative to the fixing part.

Having the general form of an extrusion, a trunking accessory has a blade for attaching it to the trunking and a bead adapted to project from the trunking. The accessory can be used with trunking employed to house and protect electrical equipment.

Trunking accessory and trunking equipped therewith

A trunking or like type multipart assembly of structural sections comprises a base and a cover snap-fastened to the base by two flanges. The flanges of the cover are elastically deformable and the assembly further comprises an independent over-cover which has two flanges by which it is snap-fastened to the cover. The assembly of structural sections is usable as trunking, baseboards, architectural moldings and the like.

Trunking or like multipart assembly of structural sections

A duct for wiring comprises a plastic body member of U-shaped cross section and a plastic cover adapted to be received at an open end of the body member. The sidewalls of the body member are equipped with metal or plastic casing elements. The casing elements are clipped, preferably with detenting action, on the sidewalls of the body member by means of grooves and tongues on the respective parts. Another casing element may be provided on the cover and is adapted to be clipped on the body member proximate the open end. The base wall of the body member normally has no casing element and may accommodate a fastener for securing the duct to a support. A so-called connecting casing element may be provided in place of a plain casing element in order to assemble or group together two or more such ducts. In this event the connecting casing element connects the body members of two or more ducts.
