A method for manufacturing microcapsules containing an active substance, the method including: providing an aqueous solution of a surfactant, an oily phase comprising the active substance and a first monomer, and a polar phase comprising a second monomer; preparing an oil-in-water emulsion by adding the oily phase to the aqueous solution of the surfactant; adding the polar phase to the oil-in-water emulsion, in order to obtain a polymer in a reaction mixture, by polymerization of the first monomer and the second monomer; isolating the microcapsules, including a wall formed by the polymer and containing the active substance, from the reaction mixture; wherein the polymer is a poly(beta-amino ester). Microcapsules obtained by the method.

An indicator or display that may be in the form of a label that can instantaneously provide confirmation that a product is in a good preservation state by making a simple visual check, and particularly to detect if the product temporarily went outside a determined temperature range and to memorize this event. Strict monitoring of a temperature range is essential to be able to guarantee quality of many products. The indicator or display may be applicable to any product or device for which the temperature has to be monitored between two thresholds.

The invention relates to removable temporary paint having a release agent including a non-ionic surfactant and having a pH of 3 to 6. The paint includes: 10 wt % to 50 wt % of a natural alkyd resin in an aqueous emulsion, the alkyd resin having a molar mass Mp of 3,000 g/mol to 100,000 g/mol, a polydispersity index lp of 1 to 20, an oil length of 20% to 40%, and an acid index of 10 to 35; at least one inorganic filler and/or pigment; and a sufficient amount of water. The paint can be used as eco-friendly road paint for temporary markings.
