Disclosed is a multilayer film structure, comprising, in order, a puncture resistant layer comprising at least one cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) and at least one ionomer or polyolefin, a tie layer and a sealant layer. The structure can be coextruded and can be prepared using a triple bubble process.

Multilayer film comprising cyclic olefin copolymer

Disclosed is a multilayer structure that comprises a heat sealable layer comprising amorphous polyethylene terephthalate with a melting point greater than 200&#xb0; C., a pressure sensitive adhesive and at least one tie layer encapsulating the pressure sensitive adhesive. The structure can be coextruded without degrading the pressure sensitive adhesive. Also disclosed is a reclosable package comprising the structure and methods to make such structures.

Multilayer films for reclosable packaging

The present invention relates to an adhesive useful as a tie layer between a metal foil and polyethylene film that is a blend of two ethylene acrylic or methacrylic acid copolymers, one having a high-acid and a high-melt index and the other having a lower acid content and a lower melt index.

Ethylene acid copolymer with enhanced adhesion

A multi-layer sheet suitable as sealable or peelable sheet specially used for closing foodstuff containers or blisters. This multi-layer sheet comprises a tie-layer between a substrate layer and a seal or a peel-seal layer comprising a polyolefin with acid or anhydride, grafted or copolymerized. The tie-layer has a thickness equivalent to 1-7 g/m,. The seal layer comprises a polyolefin. The total thickness of the combination of tie-layer and seal layer is equivalent to 3-20 g/m. This multilayer sheet is prepared by extrusion or coextrusion coating.
