A device for separating immiscible fluids of different densities from a liquid-containing emulsion, includes a longitudinal rotary drum having a longitudinal axis of rotation. The drum includes, longitudinally from upstream to downstream and between at least one upstream inlet and downstream outlets: a solid body rotation stage having an inlet and including at least one longitudinal inner partition for causing circumferential solid body rotation; a migration and coalescence stage including at least one longitudinal partition for causing circumferential solid body rotation, the partition delimiting at least one longitudinal channel communicating with the solid body rotation stage; and an extraction stage including at least one liquid outlet that has an overflow edge and extends along a longitudinal flow space communicating with the migration and coalescence stage via at least one longitudinal passage, and including a downstream liquid discharge space communicating with the outlet and connected to a downstream discharge port.

Device for separating two immiscible fluids of different densities by centrifugation

In a method and to a device for treating a compound, such as a chemical and/or organic and/or microorganism compound, which is carried by a liquid, the liquid is driven axially through an axial inlet () into a central inlet portion of a radial cavitation chamber () having a peripheral outlet (), such that the liquid is diverted into the central inlet portion and flows into the radial chamber in various radial directions towards the peripheral outlet; and the liquid flow conditions between the inlet and the peripheral outlet of the radial chamber are capable of generating cavitation bubbles or pockets () and subsequently causing the collapse or implosion of the bubbles or pockets in order to treat the compound at least partially.

A separator of a mixture of liquid and gas, comprising an injection device, a separation chamber having a cylindrical internal surface and extending along a vertical axis, and a control chamber. The mixture is separated in the separation chamber into gas and liquid, with a cylindrical interface surface. The separation chamber comprises a first axial outlet for extracting the gas, a second outlet for extracting the liquid, and a third axial outlet in communication with the control chamber. The interface surface has, in normal operating conditions, a diameter lying between the diameter of the first outlet and the diameter of the third outlet. The control chamber is connected to the injection device by a return circuit.

Cyclonic flow separator

The separator has a cylindrical separator chamber and an impeller on the same axis and driven in rotation. The impeller has a core, an inlet for receiving an axial flow of fluid, an outlet for injecting the fluid into the separator chamber, and guide channels formed between the inlet and the outlet of the impeller at the periphery of the core. The core has a portion of diameter equal to or greater than the inner diameter of the separator chamber. In this portion, the guide channels extend longitudinally, and they then continue as far as the outlet from the impeller, which outlet is cylindrical in shape and of diameter equal to the inner diameter of the separator chamber.

The invention concerns a device for separating the constituents of a heterogeneous mixture and its uses. Said device comprises a separation chamber ( ) having a one of its ends an inlet and at the other an outlet comprising a first ring-shaped orifice ( ) coaxial with said chamber, and a second ring-shaped orifice ( ) coaxial with said first ring-shaped orifice and whereof the external diameter is smaller than said first ring-shaped orifice internal diameter.
