A method for estimating the acoustic reverberations in an environment comprising the following steps: a measurement step in which one acoustic signal emitted in the environment is captured; a step for determination of acoustic energy decay rate distribution during which an acoustic energy decay rate distribution is determined from the acoustic signal captured in step (a); an estimation step during which a reverberation time and a reverberation level of sound in the environment are estimated by regression from the characteristic function of the acoustic energy decay rate distribution determined in step (b).

Method and device for estimating acoustic reverberation

The invention concerns a method for generating a signature of a musical audio signal of a given duration, the method comprising the following steps: &#x2014;modelling () the musical audio signal to obtain, for each frequency band of a set of n frequency bands, a diagram representing the energy of the audio signal for the frequency band, on the basis of the time during said given duration; &#x2014;determining () musical transition times tof the audio signal during the given duration; &#x2014;associating () each musical transition time tk with an item of local information comprising a vector of n values representative, respectively, of the energy of the audio signal in each of the n diagrams obtained between musical transition time tk and a subsequent musical transition time tk+1 and/or a vector of n values representative, respectively, of the energy of the audio signal in each of the n diagrams obtained between musical transition time tk and a preceding musical transition time tk&#x2212;1; &#x2014;determining (), on the basis of the local information associated with each musical transition time tk, a key associated with the musical transition time, the determined keys forming a first set of keys of the audio signal; &#x2014;generating () a signature of the musical audio signal comprising pairs of keys from the first set of keys and associated musical transition times tk.

A method for estimating an instantaneous phase of dereverberated acoustic signal, the method comprising the following steps: measurement of an acoustic signal reverberated by propagation in a medium, estimation of a one short-term Fourier transform of the reverberated acoustic signal with a window function, calculation of an instantaneous frequency of dereverberated signal from said short-term Fourier transform and from an influencing factor of the medium, said influencing factor being a function of a reverberation time of said medium, determination of an instantaneous phase of dereverberated signal by integrating the instantaneous frequency of dereverberated signal over time.

Method and device for estimating a dereverberated signal

A method for suppressing the late reverberation of an audio signal. A plurality of prediction vectors are calculated. A plurality of observation vectors from the modulus of the complex time-frequency transform of an input signal is generated. A plurality of synthesis dictionaries from the plurality of observation vectors are constructed. A late reverberation spectrum from the plurality of synthesis dictionaries and the plurality of prediction vectors are estimated. A plurality of observation vectors are filtered to eliminate the late reverberation spectrum and obtain a dereverberated signal modulus.
