A new carnation cultivar particularly distinguished by the light pink coloration of its medium sized, relatively dense and almost ball-shaped blooms, which are borne on long, straight, strong stems of a plant which blooms profusely and recurrently from spring through midseason and fall with a vigorous, upright growth habit and with moderately abundant foliage, the plant averaging about 112 cm. in height and thereby providing the flowers with extra long stems particularly suitable for the cut flower market.

Carnation named Lonterey

A new spray carnation variety having small, bright orange blooms produced profusely at intermittent intervals from spring through fall in clusters appearing at the upper portion of strong, upright and rigid stems, the flowers being distinguished by their relatively small size and the orange coloration of the petals, which are striated with longitudinally extending, red lines, and the plant itself being distinguished by its tall, vigorous and upright growth habit with moderately abundant foliage.

Carnation named Lontoyo

A new spray carnation cultivar particularly distinguished by its relatively small flowers of substantially white coloration, with a cast of very light yellow from the central portion of the bloom, borne singly on straight, strong stems of medium length and having rather abundant foliage, the flowers blooming recurrently and profusely during the growing season and the plant having a vigorous, upright growth habit reaching a height of about 104 cm. at eight months.

A new standard carnation cultivar particularly distinguished by its very large blooms having a light purple coloration, borne on long, strong, straight stems and which have a recurrent blooming habit with profuse production in the spring, midseason and fall but having a tendency to give less blooms in the fall. This plant has a vigorous, upright growth habit reaching a height of about one hundred centimeters at eight months with moderately abundant foliage, the flower stem having an average length of about eighty-two centimeters.
