A device to be fitted to a guided vehicle moving on a track having a guide rail and two side rails parallel to and on each side of the guide rail maintains a trajectory of the vehicle upon derailment. The vehicle includes a guidance unit having guide wheels to be supported on the guide rail. The device includes a bar to be fixed to the guidance unit transverse to the track. The bar has a length L between a distance D mutually separating the side rails minus the width C of the head of the guide rail and the distance D mutually separating side rails, i.e. D&#x2212;C&#x3c;L&#x3c;D. A fixing device fixes the bar to the guidance unit with the bar transversely between and level with the side rails and supported on one of the side rails during a derailment and/or failure of vehicle guidance.

Device to maintain a trajectory of a guided vehicle in the event of derailment and/or failure of guidance

A device and method measure an acceleration of a moving body. The device contains a solid body having a moving part and an internal cavity capable of allowing for a free movement of the moving part. The internal cavity has at least one wall forming a sloping track, the sloping track having a surface allowing for the free movement of the moving part on the sloping track between an initial position at rest and a distant position spaced from the initial position situated at an end of the internal cavity and reachable by the moving part during a variation in acceleration. The moving part moving from the initial position to the distant position in the internal cavity under an effect of the acceleration of the moving body. At least one detector is provide and is capable of detecting a presence of the moving part at the distant position.

Method and system for measuring the variation in speed of a moving body

A method and device lock a guiding system of a vehicle guided by at least one rail. The locking device includes first and second cylinders combined with guiding devices belonging to the guiding system of a steering axle. Each of the cylinders contains at least two characteristic configuration states: a first configuration state placing the guiding device with which the cylinder is combined in a first guiding state, and a second configuration state placing the guiding device with which the cylinder is combined in a second guiding state. A power supply supplies power to the cylinders to switch the configuration state. The power supply is coupled with a rotary member, the rotation of which is mechanically linked to the movement of the vehicle, such that a change in the direction of rotation of the rotary member is transmitted to the power supply and switches the configuration state of the cylinders.

Method and device for locking a system for guiding a guided vehicle

A method and a device for monitoring the presence of at least one guide rail for a guided vehicle, include a first detector located downstream of a wheel. The detector is capable of detecting the presence of the rail and of transmitting a first signal relating to the presence of the rail to a monitoring member. A second detector located upstream of the wheel can be connected in parallel to the first detector and is capable of detecting the presence of the rail. The second detector can communicate a second signal, relating to the presence of the rail, to the monitoring member.
