The fumes from gas turbine TG are cooled by heat exchangers E, E, E, Eand Eand compressed by compressors Cand C. The cold and high-pressure fumes are depleted in carbon dioxide in treating plant. The carbon dioxide can be injected into an underground reservoir. The fumes depleted in carbon dioxide are heated by heat exchangers Eand E, and expanded by turbines T, then T. In particular, after expansion in turbine Tand before expansion in turbine T, the fumes are heated using the heat of the fumes from compressor C

Fumes treating process

After passing into reaction section R, the hydrocarbon feedstock C mixed with hydrogen H is expanded in device D. The expansion is brought about by a single-phase turbine until a gas volume ratio of 5% is reached, then expansion is brought about in a two-phase turbine of the rotodynamic type.

An Improved impeller which imparts energy to or receives energy from a multiphase fluid comprising at least one gas phase and at least one liquid phase is disclosed. The impeller comprises an inlet section and an outlet section, at least one flow channel delimited by at least one boss and two successive vanes. The impeller has an axial length Lt and a mean radius of curvature Rh(z), taken in the meridian plane, the radius of curvature Rh(z) being determined over at least part of length Lt so as to limit separation of the phases of said multiphase fluid inside the channel.

The invention is a two-phase compression device and a process which provides energy to fluids including an essentially liquid fluid and an essentially gaseous fluid or a fluid having a liquid phase and a gas phase, at least one of the fluids or phases being miscible in at least one other of the fluids or phases which allows mixing of the fluids or phases. A device in accordance with the invention includes at least one two-phase compression element having at least one inlet stage and at least one outlet stage, each one of the stages having an impeller and a diffuser, which mixes the essentially liquid fluid and the essentially gaseous fluid or the phases and which provides energy to each of the essentially liquid and gaseous fluids or phases with the mixture provided from the at least one two-phase compression element being a pressurized liquid or essentially a pressurized liquid.
