A container with cap provided with a knock cam mechanism having an uncomplicated structure employing a small number of parts, enabling the cap to be securely attached to and detached from the container body. The cap has a housing in which a plurality of grooves alternating with ribs are formed in an inner circumferential surface thereof at equiangular intervals around a cylindrical axis, and inside the housing are disposed a push-button plunger having protrusions formed on the outer peripheral surface that slide along inside the grooves, a ratchet having sloped protrusions on the outer circumference, an inner lid having tabs on the peripheral wall, an elastic member for urging the ratchet upward, and a container body in which a locking portion is formed on the outer circumference of a neck of the container body.

Container with cap

A cosmetic container which is capable of stabilizing an action of a hinge portion is provided with a single pivot shaft member, and improving opening and closing functions of a lid body. Included are: a container main body configured to contain a cosmetic; a lid body turnably provided to the container main body and capable of opening and closing the container main body; and a first pivot support member and a second pivot support mechanism disposed on a pivot axis about which the lid body turns, and causing the container main body to turnably support the lid body. The first pivot support member includes: a compression coil spring located between the container main body and the lid body; and a lock member and a pivot member. The second pivot support mechanism includes fan-shaped recessed and projecting portions and a shaft portion of the second pivot support member.

Cosmetic container

A cap is engaged with a container at two positions, one being a fitting section between the container and an elastic ring body provided inside of the cap to be deformable from outside of the cap, the other being an engaging section between the container and engaging pieces provided on the cap. An engaging strength of the fitting section is set stronger than an engaging strength of the engaging section. The engagement at the fitting section is released when the elastic ring body is pushed from outside of the cap and deformed.

[Problem to be solved] To provide a compact case built-in with a hinge unit that can be easily assembled while reducing manufacturing costs of parts. [Solving Means] A compact casewith a lid bodyconnected, in an openable and closable manner, via a hinge using at least one or more hinge unit, to a back end of a flat box shaped container body, the compact case includes a frame bodyof a plate-like member having a flat shape along a peripheral shape of an upper opening of the container body, the back end of the container body is formed with a hinge storing sectionfor storing a case section of the hinge unit so that a shaft section of the hinge unit is protruded, a back end of the lid body is formed with a receiving holein which the shaft section of the hinge unit is to be inserted, the frame body is attached to the container body so as to cover up the hinge storing section, the shaft section of the hinge unit is inserted in the receiving hole in a state the case section of the hinge unit is fixed to the container body, and the container body and the lid body are connected in an openable and closable manner.

Compact case built-in with hinge unit and method of manufacturing compact case built-in with hinge unit

A compact case with improved assembly and producibility, and stability in opening and closing the lid is provided. A compact casecomprises a bodyhaving a bottom platewith a pair of slotsformed therein at a front side part or a rear side part thereof along respective side wallsof the body, and a pair of elastically deformable pushing wallsformed in the respective side wallsfacing the respective slots, a lidrotatably provided to a rear wallof the body, a cosmetic dishthat fits into the bodybetween the respective side wallsand is slidable in a longitudinal direction of the body, a hook partengaging the cosmetic dishthe lidso as to hold the lidat a closed position and to release the engagement through sliding movement of the cosmetic dish, a projectionintegrally provided to an inner surface of the pushing wall, and a slope-defining partintegrally provided to the cosmetic dishfacing the projection. Squeezing the pushing wallcauses the projectionto move slidably to make the cosmetic dishslide forward or rearward.

Compact case

A vanity case in which a lid is coupled to part of peripheral walls of its case body pivotably and a slide piece is slidably mounted in the case body such that when the slide piece is at a first position, the lid is closed against the case body and that when the slide piece has moved from the first position to a second position, the lid is open relative to the case body. Formed through adjacent part of a bottom wall of the case body to one of the peripheral walls is a slit extending along the peripheral wall such that the peripheral wall adjacent to the slit bends inwards when an inward external force is exerted on the peripheral wall, and the deformation of the peripheral wall acts as an external force on the slide piece to make the slide piece move to the second position.

Vanity case

A vanity case which comprises a case body having a cavity, a lid coupled to the back section of the case body, an inner plate received in the cavity, and a slide piece housed in between the case body and the inner plate. The lid has an engaging claw piece formed hanging down on the front of its underside; the slide piece has an engaging arm protruding above and is always biased backwards. When the lid is closed, the engaging claw piece engages the engaging arm. A rear end wall in the rear of the case body is formed to be elastically deformable toward the front, and when the rear end wall is pushed toward the front, the slide piece whose rear end is opposite the rear end wall is moved forwards, thereby releasing the engagement between the engaging arm and the engaging claw piece and opening the lid.

A vanity case which comprises a case body having a cavity, a lid coupled to the back section of the case body, and a tray frame received in the cavity of the case body so as to be slidable forwards and backwards. The lid has an engaging hook piece in the front of its underside. The tray frame has an engaging protrusion and the tray frame is always biased backwards. When the lid is closed, the engaging hook piece of the lid engages with the engaging protrusion of the tray frame. A rear end wall is integrally formed on the rear end of the tray frame in the middle so as to straddle a back wall of the case body, and when the rear end wall is pushed toward the front, the tray frame is moved forwards, thereby releasing the engagement between the engaging protrusion and the engaging hook piece.
