A method of making a multilayer sheet includes: forming a substrate including a substrate first surface and a substrate second surface; applying a conductive layer including a base and a conductive coating to the substrate first surface; and applying an ultraviolet cured coating layer to a surface of the conductive layer opposite that in contact with the substrate second surface, wherein the ultraviolet cured coating layer comprises a multifunctional acrylate oligomer and an acrylate monomer; pressing the substrate, conductive layer, and ultraviolet cured coating layer together to form a stack; heating the stack; activating the ultraviolet cured coating layer with an ultraviolet radiation source; and removing the base from the stack leaving a conductive multilayer sheet; wherein the ultraviolet cured coating layer remains adhered to the conductive layer.

Conductive multilayer sheet for thermal forming applications

Described herein is a thermoplastic composition comprising a polycarbonate, a mineral filler, inorganic acid or acid salt, an anti-drip agent, and a flame retardant comprising a perfluoroalkyl sulfonate salt or a combination of an aromatic phosphate ester and a polycarbonate-siloxane block copolymer.

Flame retardant thermoplastic polycarbonate compositions and films made therefrom

A polycarbonate film having a thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.25 mm is formed from a thermoplastic composition that includes a first branched polycarbonate that has a peak melt viscosity of at least 7,000 poise when measured using a parallel plate melt rheology test at a heating rate of 10&#xb0; C./min at a temperature of between 350&#xb0; C. to 450&#xb0; C., a second branched polycarbonate, and a perfluoroalkyl sulfonate salt.

Disclosed herein is a flame retardant composition comprising 10 to 90 weight percent of a linear polycarbonate; a branched polycarbonate; 10 to 70 weight percent of a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer; and 1 to 20 weight percent of a phosphazene compound; were all weight percents are based on the total weight of the composition. Disclosed herein is a flame retardant composition comprising 10 to 90 weight percent of a linear polycarbonate; 5 to 50 weight percent of a polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer; where the polysiloxane-polycarbonate copolymer comprises 10 weight percent or more of polysiloxane and where the molecular weight of the polysiloxane is 30,000 grams per mole or greater; and 1 to 20 weight percent of a phosphazene compound; where all weight percents are based on the total weight of the composition.
