Electronic port includes a receptacle and a locking assembly having a clamping module and a fastener. The receptacle includes first, and second retainer members being configured to releasably hold a connector of an electronic plug. The clamping module includes a first clamp member having first engagement members, and a second clamp member movably coupled to the first clamp member and having second engagement members, the first and second engagement members are aligned with the first and second retainer members. The fastener is movably coupled to the clamping module to transition the clamping module between fastened and unfastened states by moving the first and/or second clamp members relative to the receptacle. In the unfastened state, the first and second retainer members are allowed to release the connector, and in the fastened state, the first and second engagement members engage the first and second retainer members and prevent from releasing the connector.

Electronic port having a locking assembly to lock an electronic plug

A ceiling mount comprises a mounting plate to be coupled to an electronic device and two clips to be mounted to a ceiling rail. The clips comprise engagement members to engage with opposite sides of the ceiling rail, respectively, and support arms movably coupling the engagement members to the mounting plate. One of the support arms of each clip comprises linear gear teeth. The ceiling mount also comprises a circular gear coupled to the mounting plate and engaged with the respective linear gear teeth of the clips, and a pawl engaged with the circular gear and movable between a first state and a second state. In the first state of the pawl, the engagement members can be moved toward one another and are prevented from being moved away from one another, and in the second state of the pawl, the engagement members can be moved away from one another.

Ceiling mount adaptable to various ceiling rail widths

Example implementations relate to an electronic port of an electronic device, having a locking assembly to secure an electronic plug within the electronic device. The electronic port includes a receptacle, and the locking assembly including a rocker switch, a bracket, and an elastic arm. The receptacle is releasably connectable to a connector of the electronic plug. The rocker switch is pivotably connected to an enclosure of the electronic device. The bracket extends from the rocker switch, and disposed around a first end portion of the receptacle. The elastic arm includes a locking tab engaged with the bracket, and a seating tab seated on a second end portion of the receptacle. Where, in relaxed state of the elastic arm, lock features of the locking tab protrudes into the receptacle, and where the elastic arm is deformable from relaxed state to biased state to pull the lock features out of the receptacle.

Electronic port having a locking assembly for securing an electronic plug

An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield may include a frame configured to be coupled to a printed circuit board (PCB). The frame may include a horizontal body and a plurality of vertical walls extending perpendicularly from the horizontal body. The plurality of vertical walls defines a portion of a perimeter of the EMI shield, the perimeter including a concave corner defined virtually by a first and second vertical wall of the plurality of vertical walls. The first vertical wall does not extend all the way to the second wall and an opening if formed between. The first vertical wall includes an attached portion connected to the horizontal frame and an extension portion connected to the attached portion by way of a first fold. The extension portion at least partially overlays, abuts, and extends beyond the attached portion toward the second wall thereby at least partially covering the opening.

Electromagnetic interference shield

In embodiments of the present disclosure, a method is provided for managing a communication channel between a first communication unit and a second communication unit in an AP. At the first communication unit, a request is transmitted to the second communication unit for reserving a communication channel. Here, the second communication unit is associated with a Wi-Fi network that is different from a network type associated with the first communication unit, and the first and second communication units share a band of the communication channel. A response for reserving the communication channel is received from the second communication unit. In accordance with a determination that the response indicates the communication channel has been reserved for a time duration, data is transmitted at the first communication unit within the time duration on the communication channel. Therefore, conflicts between the first and second communication units in the AP may be reduced.

Communication channel management

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to variable antenna patterns. A method comprises determining respective locations of a plurality of candidate client stations to be communicated with an access point (AP); assigning the plurality of candidate client stations to at least one of a plurality of predetermined station groups based on the determined respective locations, the plurality of station groups being associated with a plurality of antenna patterns supported by the AP, respectively, and the plurality of antenna patterns providing respective radiation coverage areas; in accordance with a determination that at least one target client station is selected from the plurality of candidate client stations for communication, determining a target antenna pattern associated with a target station group to which the at least one target client station is assigned; and causing the AP to communicate with the at least one target client station using the target antenna pattern.

Variable antenna patterns

Examples relate to communicating synchronization information from a satellite to a power supply device to enable time synchronization between the satellite and the power supply device. The power supply device includes a port to receive, from a modulator, a modulated current corresponding to a power consumption across a dummy load, where a level pattern of the modulated current indicates the synchronization information received from the satellite. The power supply device includes a power consumption analyzer configured to receive a modulated voltage, across a shunt resistor, corresponding to the modulated current and recover, from the modulated voltage, the synchronization information.

Synchronization of power supply devices

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to automatic antenna beam alignment. A method comprises determining first position-related information indicating a first location and a first orientation of a first communication device. The first communication device comprises a plurality of antenna sectors configured for generating respective directional beams. The method also comprises receiving, from a second communication device, second position-related information indicating a second location and a second orientation of the second communication device. The method also further comprises selecting a subset of the plurality of antenna sectors based on the first and the second position-related information; and causing the first communication device to perform beamforming training with the second communication device using the selected subset of antenna sectors. A decreased number of antenna sectors are scanned during the beamforming training, which can reduce the time overhead and facilitate the devices to find the best beam efficiently.

Automatic antenna beam alignment

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a power supply device, an electronic system and a method. The electronic system comprises an electronic device and the power supply device transmitting synchronization information from a satellite to the electronic system. The power supply device comprises a first modulator configured to receive a signal from a satellite and to generate a first modulated supply voltage, a level pattern of the first modulated supply voltage indicating synchronization information included in the satellite signal; and a first transformer configured to provide the first modulated supply voltage to an electronic device to enable a synchronization between the satellite and the electronic device based on the synchronization information. The electronic device demodulates the first modulated supply voltage to determine the synchronization information for synchronizing with the satellite. By using the embodiments of the disclosure, cost for manufacturing the electronic devices can be significantly reduced.
