The present invention provides a method for calibrating a spot color comprising: determining a target value for the spot color; and calibrating a printing device in an enumeration cycling manner, so that a spot color measurement value of a color block output by the printing device approximates the target value. The present invention further provides an apparatus for calibrating a spot color, comprising: a target module used for determining a target value for the spot color; a calibrating module used for calibrating a printing device in an enumeration cycling manner, so that a spot color measurement value of a color block output by the printing device approximates the target value. The present invention precisely calibrates the spot color of the printing device.

Method and apparatus for calibrating spot color

The application discloses a method for measuring the total amount of ink of an inkjet printing device. The method may include: printing a sampling figure (S); measuring the color of the sampling figure by a measuring device (S); and determining the total amount of ink according to the measurements (S). The application also discloses an apparatus for measuring the total amount of ink of an inkjet printing device. The apparatus may include a printing module () configured to print a sampling figure; a measuring device () configured to measure the color of the sampling figure by a measuring device; and a determining module () configured to determine the total amount of ink according to the measurements. The method and the apparatus can improve the inkjet printing quality.
