A recording device includes a recording unit configured to perform recording by ejecting a liquid onto a medium configured to transmit an ultrasonic wave, a transport unit configured to transport the medium, an imaging unit configured to capture an image of the medium, an ultrasonic wave sensor including a transmission unit configured to transmit an ultrasonic wave to the medium and a reception unit configured to receive an ultrasonic wave transmitted by the transmission unit, and a control unit configured to control an operation of the recording unit, based on an imaging result from the imaging unit and a detection result from the ultrasonic wave sensor. The transmission unit and the reception unit are positioned sandwiching the medium.

Recording device

A recording apparatus includes a recording section capable of recording on a medium, a transport belt that is provided with adhesive capable of adhering with the medium and that is capable of transporting the medium, an ultrasonic sensor that transmits ultrasonic waves to the surface of the adhesive and that receives ultrasonic waves reflected from the surface, and a controller capable of determining the state of the surface based on the detection result of the ultrasonic sensor.

Recording apparatus and transport apparatus

A recording device includes a recording unit configured to perform recording on a medium, a transporting belt configured to transport the medium, the transporting belt including a surface on which the medium is able to be supported, a washing unit configured to wash the surface using a liquid, an ultrasonic sensor configured to transmit an ultrasonic wave onto the surface and receive the ultrasonic wave reflected from the surface, and a control unit configured to determine a remaining state of the liquid on the surface based on a result of detection by the ultrasonic sensor, in which the ultrasonic sensor transmits the ultrasonic wave onto at least part of the transporting belt, from downstream of the washing unit to upstream of the recording unit, in a rotation direction of the transporting belt.

Recording device and transport device

A recording device includes a recording unit capable of performing recording on a medium, a holding unit capable of holding a roll body around which the medium is wound, a transporting unit that transports the medium unwound from the roll body, a tension roller that, between the holding unit and the recording unit, comes into contact with a back surface of the medium and applies tension to the medium, and a blowing unit that blows air onto a front surface of the medium. The blowing unit blows the air towards the tension roller.
