Papermaking device and method for producing papermaking device

A papermaking device may have excellent strength and suppressed unevenness in strength between its parts. Such a papermaking device may be used in papermaking machine and may include at least one resin layer comprising polyurethane resin. The polyurethane resin may be obtained by reacting a urethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group with a curing agent having an active hydrogen group. The urethane prepolymer may be obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate compound including 2,4-tolylene-diisocyanate and/or 2,6-tolylene-diisocyanate with a polyol compound including one or more polyether polycarbonate diol(s).

Shoe press belt

A shoe press belt with excellent mechanical properties, in particular a shoe press belt with excellent crack resistance and excellent resistance to land edge deficiency. The shoe press belt includes a felt-side resin layer containing a resin formed by curing a prepolymer having a terminal isocyanate group (&#x2014;NCO) with a curing agent, wherein the prepolymer contains, in reacted form, a compound comprising 1,4-bis(isocyanate methyl) cyclohexane and a polycarbonate diol, and wherein the felt-side resin layer has grooves that are configured to receive water squeezed from a felt.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shoe press belt which exhibits improvement in mechanical characteristics such as crack resistance, wear resistance, delamination resistance and bending fatigue resistance, particularly in the surface wear resistance of the shoe press belt and the crack resistance of the bottom regions of water receiving parts. A shoe press belt which is produced by integrating a reinforcing substrate with a polyurethane layer including at least a felt-side layer and in which water-receiving parts are formed in the felt-side layer, wherein the polyurethane equivalent value of the second resin layer including the bottom regions of the water-receiving parts is adjusted so as to be larger than that of the first resin layer including a surface which is to be brought into contact with a felt.

Shoe press belt for papermaking

A papermaking felt which can be easily engaged in a papermaking machine, wherein the work time for engaging the felt is short, the initial warming-up period until reaching the highest papermaking speed is short, and the felt life is long, which is achieved by integrating and attaching by dispersion in the batt layer of the felt a polymeric elastomer having high deformability when pressure is applied and good recoverability after pressure is applied, which polymeric elastomer is attached in an amount of 0.5 to 20 wt. % of the felt, and which polymeric elastomer has a property that when in the form of a film and when measured at a room temperature of 20&#xb0; C. and a relative humidity of 65%, the 100% modulus value of the film is 1 to 100 kg/cm, the residual strain after 100% elongation is 30% or less.

Papermaking press felt and papermaking method

Papermaking felts include a base material and a batt layer provided on one or both sides of the base material. The batt layer includes a water-absorbing resin, and the water-absorbing resin has a coefficient of water absorption of from 1.05 and 10.

Papermaking felt

A papermaking shoe press belt is formed of a reinforcing fiber base material and a polyurethane layer integrated with each other. The reinforcing fiber base material is embedded in the polyurethane layer. The papermaking shoe press belt includes, as the polyurethane layer, a polyurethane layer obtainable by curing a composition composed in combination of a urethane prepolymer and one or more curing agent. The urethane prepolymer is obtainable by reacting a p-phenylene diisocyanate compound with a long-chain polyol. The at least one curing agent is selected from 4,4'-methylene bis(2,6-diethyl-3-chloroaniline), 4,4&#x2032;-methylene bis(2-chloroaniline), methylene bis(2-ethyl-6-methylaniline), 4,4&#x2032;-methylene bis(2-ethylbenzeneamine), methylene bis(2,3-dichloroaniline), 4,4&#x2032;-methylenedianiline, 3,5-dimethylthiotoluene-2,4-diamine, 3,5-dimethylthiotoluene-2,6-diamine, 3,5-diethyltoluene-2, 4-diamine, 3,5-diethyltoluene-2,6-diamine, polytetramethylene oxide di-p-aminobenzoate, poly(tetramethylene/3-methyl tetramethylene ether)glycol bis(4-aminobenzoate) , trimethylene bis(4-aminobenzoate) and isobutyl 4-chloro-3,5-diaminobenzoate.

Papermaking shoe press belt

A belt for papermaking shoe press is provided which comprises a reinforcing fibrous base () and a polyurethane layer () united therewith, the reinforcing fibrous base () having been embedded in the polyurethane layer (). The belt includes a polyurethane layer obtained by curing a mixture comprising: a urethane prepolymer obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate compound selected among p-phenylene-diisocyanate, 4,4'-methylene-bis(phenyl isocyanate), and tolylene-diisocyanate with a polyol compound selected among polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene glycol, and a polycarbonate diol; a hardener selected among an aliphatic diol compound, hydroquinone-bis-&#x3b2;-hydroxyethyl ether, and organic polyamine compound; and an aliphatic triol compound. Due to this layer, the shoe press belt for papermaking is excellent in wearing resistance and flexing fatigue resistance.
