The present invention provides a hydrogenated block copolymer that is a hydrogenated product of a copolymer containing a vinyl aromatic compound monomer unit and a conjugated diene monomer unit, and that satisfies the following conditions (1) to (3):

Hydrogenated block copolymer

A hydrogenated block copolymer satisfying the following conditions (1) to (7): (1) the hydrogenated block copolymer comprises (b) at least one hydrogenated copolymer block containing a vinyl aromatic monomer unit and a conjugated diene monomer unit; (2) a content of the (a) polymer block principally containing a vinyl aromatic monomer unit is 40% by mass or less; (3) Mw is 200,000 or less; (4) a hydrogenation rate is 20% or more; (5) a ratio, in a molecular weight curve of the hydrogenated block copolymer, of an area corresponding to a molecular weight of 10,000 to 150,000 to an area corresponding to a molecular weight of 10,000 to 1,000,000 is over 50%; (6) a vinyl bond content is 20% by mass or more (7) a content, in the (b) hydrogenated copolymer block, of the vinyl aromatic monomer unit is 30% by mass or more and 79% by mass or less.
