A power tool includes a resin member in a rotor that is less susceptible to breaking. A power tool includes a stator, a rotor rotatable relative to the stator at a speed of 30000 rpm or greater, and an output unit drivable by the rotor. The stator includes a stator core, an insulator fixed to the stator core, and a coil held on the insulator. The rotor includes a rotor core having a slot, a permanent magnet received in the slot in the rotor core, and a resin member fixing the rotor core and the permanent magnet. The resin member includes an annular portion protruding from an end face of the rotor core. The annular portion includes a cut portion.

Power tool

An impact wrench () includes: a brushless motor (); a hammer () disposed frontward of, and driven by, the brushless motor; and a hammer case (), which houses the hammer. An anvil () of the impact wrench includes: an arm portion () disposed frontward of the hammer and configured to be impacted (struck) in a rotational direction by the hammer; a cylindrical portion () connected to the arm portion and supported by the hammer case; a square-column portion () disposed frontward of the cylindrical portion; and an enlarged portion () disposed between the cylindrical portion and the square-column portion and enlarging in a direction extending rearward from the square-column portion. A recessed portion () is continuous in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical portion and is disposed between the cylindrical portion and the enlarged portion of the anvil.

Impact wrench

An anvil receives less stress around a rectangular prism and has higher durability. An impact wrench includes a motor, a hammer rotatable by the motor, a body accommodating the motor and the hammer, and an anvil protruding frontward from the body and to be struck in a rotation direction by the hammer. The anvil includes a blade to be in contact with the hammer, a cylinder located frontward from the blade, a rectangular prism located frontward from the cylinder, at least one chamfered surface each at an edge of the rectangular prism, and a concave on a rear end of the at least one chamfered surface.
