A rotor includes a rotor core, a first magnet, a second magnet, and a holder made of resin. Both a radially inner surface and a radially outer surface of the first magnet are covered with the rotor core. The second magnet includes a radially inner surface covered with the rotor core, and a radially outer surface exposed from the rotor core. The holder includes a first inner pressing portion and a second inner pressing portion. The first inner pressing portion presses the first magnet radially outward from a radially inner side of the first magnet. The second inner pressing portion presses the second magnet radially outward from a radially inner side of the second magnet. Accordingly, the first magnet and the second magnet are accurately positioned for the rotor core.

Holder, rotor, motor, and method for manufacturing rotor

A rotor includes a first rotating body and a second rotating body. The first rotating body includes a first rotor core and first magnets arranged in a circumferential direction. An outer side surface of the first rotating body includes first outer side surfaces curved in a circular arc shape and arranged in the circumferential direction. The first outer side surface is an outer side surface of the first magnet or an outer side surface of the first rotor core. The second rotating body is positioned on a side lower than the first rotating body in an axial direction and includes a second rotor core and second magnets arranged in the circumferential direction. An outer side surface of the second rotating body includes second outer side surfaces curved in a circular arc shape and arranged in the circumferential direction.

Rotor and motor

A motor includes a rotor including a shaft extending axially, a stator surrounding a radial outside of the rotor and including a coil defined by a wound coil wire, a holder disposed on an axially upper side of the stator, the coil wire being inserted into the holder, the holder including through-holes extending axially, and a circuit board disposed on the axially upper side of the holder, an electronic component being mounted on the circuit board. When the holder is viewed from the axially upper side, the through-holes are located in a region where a center angle (&#x3b1;) centered on the shaft is less than or equal to 180 degrees.

Motor and electric power steering device

A motor includes a rotor including a shaft centered on a center axis extending vertically, a stator that is radially opposed to the rotor and includes coils, a conductive holder accommodating the rotor and the stator and including a penetration unit penetrating axially, and a coil lead wire support that is at least partially disposed in the penetration unit, includes a coil lead wire insertion hole into which coil lead wires extending from the coils are provided, and is made of an insulating material. The coil lead wire support includes a base and a fitting unit extending downward from the base, at least one of a circumferential length and a radial length of the fitting unit being shorter than the base, and the coil lead wire insertion hole is in the base and the fitting unit, and the coil lead wire is inserted into the coil lead wire insertion hole.

Motor

A motor includes a rotor including a shaft, a stator, an upper bearing supporting an upper side of the shaft, a lower bearing supporting a lower side of the shaft, a bearing holder supporting the upper bearing, a housing accommodating the rotor, the stator, and the bearing holder and including an opening on an upper side, and a controller electrically connected to coil lead wires, and having an electronic component mounted thereon. An outer circumferential surface of the bearing holder is fixed while contacting an inner circumferential surface of the housing, and the bearing holder includes a notch cutout extending inward from the outer circumferential surface, and at least one of a the coil lead wires extends upward through the notch.

A case of a disk drive apparatus includes a housing in which a disk is accommodated, and a top cover arranged to close an opening of the housing. The top cover includes a top cover body and a flow control member. The top cover body is a plate-shaped member arranged to extend perpendicularly to a central axis. The flow control member is fixed to a lower surface of the top cover body. The flow control member includes a lower surface arranged axially opposite to at least a portion of an upper surface of the disk.

Top cover and disk drive apparatus

A spindle motor includes a recording disk and a clamper. A cylindrical portion includes a first screw portion positioned in an outer circumferential portion of the cylindrical portion. The clamper includes an annular raised portion configured to be fitted in a through hole of the recording disk. An inner circumferential portion of the clamper includes a second screw portion configured to be screwed to the first screw portion. At least a portion of the second screw portion is positioned in an inner circumferential portion of the annular raised portion. Each of the first screw portion and the second screw portion includes at least one of a screw groove and a screw thread. An axial position of at least a portion of the second screw portion overlaps with an axial position of the recording disk.

Spindle motor and disk drive apparatus

A spindle motor includes a shaft arranged concentric with as a central axis and extending in a vertical direction, a rotor unit arranged to rotate about the central axis, a stator including a base member and a magnetic member fixed to the base member and axially opposed to the magnet. The magnetic member includes an opposing portion axially opposed to the magnet so that a magnetic attracting force is generated between the opposing portion and the magnet and a protrusion portion protruding downwards from the opposing portion. The base member includes a recess portion, and the protrusion portion of the magnetic member is fixed within the recess portion.
