A thrust bearing device is provided with: a rotational shaft; a collar member fitted to the rotational shaft and having a first thrust surface; and a thrust member having an insertion hole into which the rotational shaft is inserted and a second thrust surface which is disposed around the insertion hole and faces the first thrust surface of the collar member. The first thrust surface is configured to be inclined with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of the rotational shaft so that a distance between the first thrust surface and the second thrust surface periodically increases and decreases with rotation of the rotational shaft.

A bearing device includes a rotary part which is configured to be rotatable about a rotational axis and has a rotary surface intersecting the rotational axis, and a stationary part which has a stationary surface facing the rotary surface. One of the rotary surface or the stationary surface includes a bearing surface part for forming a bearing oil film. The rotary surface includes a first inner circumferential region, and a first outer circumferential region facing the stationary surface on a radially outer side of the bearing surface part and having higher oleophobicity than the first inner circumferential region.

The present invention comprises: a rotating shaft; a thrust bearing that is provided to the rotating shaft and restricts the axial-direction movement of the rotating shaft; and an oil reservoir part () that has formed therein an oil reservoir space () that is provided to be adjacent to the thrust bearing in the axial direction and to open downward, the oil reservoir space () having formed therein an inclined surface () that, in a region that is in and below a horizontal plane H that passes through the center of the rotating shaft, protrudes to the thrust bearing side and is inclined along the rotational direction of the rotating shaft.

Lubricating device for bearing, and exhaust turbosupercharger

This turbocharger includes a rotating shaft extending along an axis, a turbine wheel provided at a first end portion of the rotating shaft, a compressor wheel provided at a second end portion of the rotating shaft, a housing accommodating at least a portion of the rotating shaft, bearings provided in the housing and configured to support the rotating shaft, supply flow paths supplying lubricating oil to the bearings, a discharge oil chamber formed in the housing and to which the lubricating oil is discharged from the bearings, and an oil drainage port formed below the discharge oil chamber, in which at least one of the discharge oil chamber and the oil drainage port is formed to be asymmetric between a first region and a second region defined by a vertical plane including the axis of the rotating shaft as a boundary plane.

Turbocharger

A turbocharger according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a rotating shaft, a compressor, a turbine, a compressor-side floating bearing and a turbine-side floating bearing that rotatably support the rotating shaft, and a bearing housing that houses the compressor-side floating bearing and the turbine-side floating bearing, the bearing housing being internally provided with a turbine-side oil feeding passage through which oil to be fed to the turbine-side floating bearing flows and a compressor-side oil feeding passage through which oil to be fed to the compressor-side floating bearing flows. A ratio of an oil feeding pressure for oil at an outlet of the compressor-side oil feeding passage to an oil feeding pressure for oil at an outlet of the turbine-side oil feeding passage is configured to be higher than 1.0 and lower than 1.5.

The present invention improves the drainability of lubricating oil. The present invention comprises: a rotating shaft (); a journal bearing that is provided to the rotating shaft () and rotationally supports the rotating shaft (); a bearing housing part that houses the journal bearing; and a drain oil space chamber () that acts as an oil drainage passage that communicates with the bearing housing part, is provided along the periphery of the rotating shaft (), and is formed to open downward. Within a region that is in and above a horizontal plane H that passes through the center of the rotating shaft (), the smallest cross-sectional area of the oil drainage passage in a radial-direction cross-section thereof is on the anterior side in the rotational direction of the rotating shaft () with respect to a vertical plane P that passes though the center (O) of the rotating shaft (), and the largest cross-sectional area of the oil drainage passage in the radial-direction cross-section is on the posterior side in the rotational direction of the rotating shaft () with respect to the vertical plane that passes through the center (O) of the rotating shaft ().

An oil-drain device for a thrust bearing includes: a rotor shaft; a collar member mounted to an outer periphery of the rotor shaft; a thrust bearing supporting the rotor shaft in an axial direction; and an oil-drain space forming member defining an oil-drain space through which lubricant oil leaking from a sliding portion of the thrust bearing flows, between the thrust bearing and the oil-drain space forming member. The oil-drain space includes: an oil-drain channel defined between a first end surface of the thrust bearing and a first end surface of the oil-drain space forming member, surrounding the flange portion of the collar member; and an oil-drain port formed below the oil-drain channel, for discharging the lubricant oil flowing through the oil-drain channel outside the oil-drain space. The oil-drain space is configured to guide the lubricant oil flowing through the oil-drain channel to outside the oil-drain space via the oil-drain port, along a flow direction of the lubricant oil flowing through the oil-drain channel from an upstream side toward a downstream side in a rotational direction of the rotor shaft.

Oil-drain device for thrust bearing device and turbocharger provided with the same

A bearing device for a turbocharger according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a rotational shaft; a journal bearing device including a compressor-side journal bearing and a turbine-side journal bearing; a bearing housing including a compressor-side bearing supporting portion, a turbine-side bearing supporting portion, and a bearing housing main body; and a lubricant oil guide member extending along a circumference direction of the rotational shaft, at an outer circumference side of at least one of the compressor-side bearing supporting portion and the turbine-side bearing supporting portion. When a virtual line extending vertically downward from a rotational center CL of the rotational shaft is defined as a reference line VL in a state where an oil discharge port is orientated downward, the lubricant oil guide member extends from the reference line VL along the circumference direction toward each of one side and another side of the reference line VL over a predetermined angle &#x3b8; about the rotational center CL of the rotational shaft.

A rotary machine is provided with: a flange section protruding in the radial direction of a rotating shaft which rotates about an axis and rotating together with the rotating shaft; a stationary bush disposed at a distance in the direction of the axis from the flange section, surrounding the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, and provided in a housing supporting the rotating shaft so as to be immovable in the direction of the axis relative to the rotating shaft; and a rotation bush which is disposed between the flange section and the stationary bush so as to be sandwiched there between in the direction of the axis, covers the outer peripheral surface of the rotating shaft, and is rotatable relative to the rotating shaft and the housing while floating in fluid. The rotation bush has, on the surface thereof which faces the direction of the axis, a land surface and a tapered surface which is continuous with the land surface.
