A board attached connector includes a circuit board including first press-fitting holes and a second press-fitting hole and a connector to be mounted on a mounting surface of the circuit board. The connector includes a plurality of press-fit terminals to be press-fitted into the first press-fitting holes, and a housing holding the plurality of press-fit terminals. The housing includes an extending portion extending along a first direction in which the press-fit terminals are press-fitted into the first press-fitting holes, and provided with a press-fitted portion to be press-fitted into the second press-fitting hole. The board attached connector is configured such that in a temporarily mounted state in which the press-fitted portion is in contact with an edge of the second press-fitting hole, each of tips of the plurality of press-fit terminals in the first direction is located inside the first press-fitting holes without contacting the mounting surface.

An electronic component unit includes: a circuit board to mount an electronic component on the circuit board; a connector to receive and retain a terminal to be electrically connected to the circuit board; and a cover assembled to the connector and housing the circuit board. The circuit board is retained with the cover by using a beard retaining portion integrated with or separate from the cover. The connector has a cover retaining portion including a pair of protrusion portions. The cover retaining portion retains the cover assembled to the connector by holding a part of the cover between the pair of the protrusion portions.

Tin-plated product and method for producing same

There is provided a tin-plated product having an excellent minute sliding abrasion resistance property when it is used as the material of insertable and extractable connecting terminals, and a method for producing the same. After a nickel layeris formed on a substrateof copper or a copper alloy so as to have a thickness of 0.1 to 1.5 &#x3bc;m by electroplating, a tin-copper plating layercontaining tinmixed with a copper-tin alloyis formed thereon so as to have a thickness of 0.6 to 10 &#x3bc;m by electroplating using a tin-copper plating bath which contains 5 to 35% by weight of copper with respect to the total amount of tin and copper, and then, a tin layeris formed thereon so as to have a thickness of 1 &#x3bc;m or less by electroplating if necessary.

The press-fit terminal includes: a press-fit portion that is deformed in a width direction orthogonal to a press-fit direction into a through hole of a circuit board when the press-fit portion is press-fitted into the through hole; a slit that is formed in the press-fit portion and has a longitudinal direction matched with the press-fit direction into the through hole; and a contact portion, which is formed in a part on an imaginary line passing through a center of the slit in the longitudinal direction and extending in the width direction in the press-fit portion and comes into contact with an inner wall of the through hole by press-fitting the press-fit portion into the through hole. The shortest distance from the contour of the press-fit portion to the slit becomes largest in the contact portion.

The present invention is to provide a press fit terminal which can suppress deterioration of the substrate when pressing and can ensure a holding force in a press-fit completion state. In elastic pieces, a portion around a top circular arc portion is formed to be thinner than a portion around a base end circular portion. Therefore, the elastic pieces can be easily deformed in the top side, and deterioration of a substrate can be prevented when pressing the press fit terminal into a through hole. Further, the elastic pieces around the base end circular portion are formed to be relatively thicker. Therefore, in the press-fit completion state, the elastic pieces can be pressed to the inner peripheral surface of the through hole with an appropriate pressure.

Press fit terminal

A connector includes a connector housing, a plurality of terminals including foot portions extending to the outside of the connector housing, and a position aligning plate including a plurality of terminal insertion holes, the foot portions of the terminals being configured to be inserted into the terminal insertion holes so that the foot portions align with corresponding through holes of a circuit board. The foot portions of the terminals are configured to be soldered with the circuit board by a reflow system using hot air as a hearing source. A vent hole is provided in the position aligning plate to introduce the hot air to soldering parts through the vent hole.
