A hub unit that is to be installed on a vehicle is provided with: an outer ring having, on the inner circumferential surface, a first outer raceway surface and a second outer raceway surface that is disposed to the outside of the first outer raceway surface in the vehicle width direction when the hub unit is installed on the vehicle; an inner shaft that is disposed on the inside of the outer ring concentrically with the outer ring and on which a wheel is installed on the outer end in the vehicle width direction; and an inner ring that is press-fitted to the inner shaft on the inner end in the vehicle width direction.

Hub unit

A wheel bearing apparatus includes an outer ring, an inner shaft member, rolling elements, a cage, and a sealing device. The sealing device includes an annular slinger and a sealing member. The slinger has a first inclined surface provided on a radially outer side and on a side facing the sealing member such that a diameter of the first inclined surface increases toward a first side in an axial direction. The sealing member has a second inclined surface provided on the radially outer side and on a side facing the slinger such that a diameter of the second inclined surface increases toward a second side in the axial direction. The second inclined surface intersects with a virtual extension surface extending radially outwardly along the first inclined surface, and the second inclined surface is continuous with an inner peripheral surface of the radially outer portion.

Hub unit bearing

A hub unit includes an outer ring, an inner shaft, rolling elements and a sealing device. The outer ring includes an outer ring body and an outer ring flange. The inner shaft includes an inner shaft body and an inner shaft flange. The outer ring body includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is an end part on the outer side of the outer ring body. The second portion is a part of the outer ring body between the first portion and the outer ring flange. The second portion includes an upper build-up portion. The upper build-up portion is formed in an upper part of the second portion and a thickness of the build-up portion is larger than thicknesses of side parts of the second portion. An upper end of the upper build-up portion is higher than an upper end of the first portion.

A rolling device for a vehicle includes an inner raceway member including first and second inner raceways; an outer raceway member including first and second outer raceways; first rolling elements disposed rollably between the first inner raceway and the first outer raceway and second rolling elements disposed rollably between the second inner raceway and the second outer raceway; and grease disposed on raceway surfaces of the first inner raceway, the first outer raceway, the second inner raceway, and the second outer raceway and rolling surfaces of the first rolling elements and the second rolling elements. The grease includes a base oil, a thickener, and additives. The grease includes a synthetic oil as the base oil. A kinematic viscosity of the base oil at 40&#xb0; C. is 20 mm/s to 50 mm/s. The additives include a phosphorus compound, a calcium compound, and a hydrocarbon wax.

Rolling device for vehicle

A power transmission device includes a tubular stabilizer which is arranged between a primary pulley and a secondary pulley, and through which a string portion of a power transmitting chain is passed so as to be movable relative to the stabilizer whereby movement of the power transmitting chain is restricted. The stabilizer is supported by the power transmitting chain and is moved in the traveling direction of the power transmitting chain as the power transmitting chain moves in the traveling direction, and a movement of the stabilizer of which the amount is larger than or equal to a predetermined amount is restricted by a restricting device.
