Provided is a cooling structure for a bearing device. The bearing device includes a rolling bearing having a stationary raceway ring and a rotating raceway ring, a stationary spacer adjacent to the stationary raceway ring and a rotating spacer adjacent to the rotating raceway ring. The stationary raceway ring and the stationary spacer are provided in a stationary member, and the rotating raceway ring and the rotating spacer are provided in a rotating member. The cooling structure includes: an annular recessed portion provided on a circumferential surface, of the stationary spacer, that confronts an opposite spacer; and a nozzle hole configured to inject a compressed air from an outlet open to a bottom surface of the recessed portion toward a circumferential surface of the rotating spacer that confronts an opposite spacer. The nozzle hole is inclined forwardly in a rotation direction of the rotating spacer.

Cooling structure for bearing device

A bearing device has rolling bearings each having an inner ring mounted on a main shaft and an outer ring; an inner ring spacer interposed between the inner rings of the neighboring rolling bearings and mounted on the main shaft; an outer ring spacer interposed between the outer rings of the neighboring rolling bearings; and a cooling structure. The cooling structure includes a nozzle provided in the outer ring spacer to supply a cooling fluid to the rolling bearings by blowing the cooling fluid to an outer peripheral surface of the inner ring spacer. The nozzle has a discharge port side that is inclined forwardly with respect to a direction of rotation of the main shaft. The outer peripheral surface of the inner ring spacer is shaped to guide the cooling fluid, discharged from the nozzle, towards the neighboring rolling bearings on both sides.

A bearing device includes a rolling bearing having an outer ring and an inner ring, an outer ring spacer disposed adjacent to the outer ring, and an inner spacer disposed adjacent the inner ring. The outer ring and the outer ring spacer are fitted to a housing, and the inner ring and the inner ring spacer are fitted to a rotary shaft. The outer ring spacer is provided with a nozzle, which is configured to inject a cooling fluid (R) toward an outer circumferential surface of the inner ring, and is inclined so that an injection port thereof is inclined forwardly in a rotation direction of the inner ring. An inclination angle &#x3b1; of the nozzle with respect to an axial direction is set to a value within a range from 50&#xb0; to 90&#xb0;.

A rolling bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring which are bearing rings; a plurality of rolling elements interposed in a rollable manner between raceway surfaces of the bearing rings; and a retainer configured to retain the plurality of rolling elements. Nozzles configured to inject a cooling fluid (R) toward the rolling elements are provided to a fixed-side bearing ring which is one of the inner ring and the outer ring, with an outlet side of each of the nozzles oriented forward in a revolution direction of the rolling elements.

Rolling bearing

A bearing device includes an outer ring spacer and an inner ring spacer, which are interposed between outer rings of a plurality of axially juxtaposed rolling bearings and inner rings of such rolling bearings, respectively. The outer ring and the outer ring spacer are disposed within a housing while the inner ring and the inner ring spacer are mounted on a main shaft. A cooling structure including a nozzle is provided in the outer ring spacer for blowing a cooling fluid to an outer peripheral surface of the inner ring spacer to thereby supply the cooling fluid to the rolling bearing. The nozzle is provided with its discharge port side inclined forwardly with respect to the direction of rotation of the main shaft.

A rolling bearing device which may include: a pair of raceway rings including an inner ring and an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between respective raceway surfaces of the inner and outer rings, a retainer to retain the rolling elements; an oil supply and discharge mechanism to supply a lubricant oil, which concurrently serves as a bearing cooling medium, into the inside of the bearing device and to discharge the lubricant oil to the outside of the bearing device; and a ring shaped shake-off collar portion disposed in the vicinity of an end portion of an outer diametric surface of the inner ring so as to protrude radially outwardly, wherein the lubricant oil supplied from the oil supply and discharge mechanism and provided for lubrication within the bearing device is, after being received by the shake-off collar portion, shaken-off in a direction radially outwardly by the effect of a centrifugal force developed as a result of an inner ring rotation.

Rolling bearing device

A rolling bearing assembly in which the number of components is reduced, and a high speed operation can be enabled with an increase of the stirring resistance being avoided by a sufficient discharge of lubricant oil and with an increase of temperature within the bearing assembly being suppressed. The rolling bearing assembly includes a pair of raceway rings, which are inner and outer rings, a plurality of rolling elements interposed between the inner and outer rings and a retailer for retaining the rolling elements. Each of the inner and outer rings is provided with an axially extending raceway ring extension portion and an oil supply and drainage mechanism for supplying a lubricant oil, which concurrently serves as a bearing cooling medium, to the bearing assembly and for discharging the lubricant oil to outside of the bearing assembly is provided in the raceway ring extension portion.
