A bio-polyol composition and a bio-polyurethane foam are provided. The bio-polyol composition includes polyol, a surface-modified lignin, and a surfactant represented by formula 1.

A bio-polyol composition and a bio-polyurethane foam material are provided. By using the modifier and applying the dispersing and grinding process, the modified lignin is uniformly dispersed in the polyol solution and a bio-polyol composition is obtained. The obtained bio-polyol composition may be used to prepare the bio-polyurethane foam material with a high lignin content, a high compression strength and superior flame-resistance.

A method for forming an inorganic passivation material is provided. The method includes mixing about 5 to 80 parts by weight of trialkoxysilane, about 10 to 80 parts by weight of tetraalkoxysilane, and about 1 to 30 parts by weight of catalyst to perform a reaction at pH of about 0.05 to 4 to form an inorganic resin material. The inorganic resin material is modified by phosphate ester to form an inorganic passivation material, wherein phosphate ester is about 0.1-10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the inorganic resin material. A method of manufacturing a hydrophobic antifouling coating material, including: (a) mixing a sol-gel precursor, water, an aqueous colloidal silica suspension, and a catalyst to perform a sol-gel reaction to form a solution having particles therein, wherein the sol-gel reaction is performed without addition of any organic solvent; (b) chemically modifying the particles with a hydrophobic agent to form surface-modified particles; and (c) adding a surfactant to the solution containing the surface-modified particles to form a hydrophobic antifouling coating material. The hydrophobic antifouling coating material can be dispersed in an aqueous solution, and has properties such as low VOC (Volatile organic compound) value, high solid content, and high stability.

A method of preparing an organic-inorganic hybrid material is described. A M(OR)x and an organically modified Si-alkoxide having a predetermined functional group are dissolved in a first solvent and a second solvent to form a first solution and a second solution, respectively. The first solution and the second solution are then mixed and heated. As a result, the M(OR)x reacts with the organically modified Si-alkoxide to form a functionalized organic-inorganic hybrid material. Furthermore, the solid content of the functionalized organic-inorganic hybrid material is increased by transferring the same into another solvent. Therefore, a thick hybrid film is fabricated by means of the transferred functionalized organic-inorganic hybrid material.

The present invention relates to a method for liquid crystal display element without substrates, which comprises applying a release agent to assisting substrates in the process of producing the liquid crystal display so that the assembled liquid crystal display element can be separated from the assisting substrates and the liquid crystal display element is obtained, wherein said release agent comprises (a) 2-20 wt % of compounds selected from the group consisting of silicone, fluorine compounds and mixtures thereof; (b) 0.01-0.6 wt % of release modifier; and (c) a solvent as a complement to 100 wt %.

A polymer liquid crystal device. The polymer liquid crystal device is fabricated by the following steps. A first substrate is provided, and a coating of a photosensitive composition is formed on the first substrate. Next, a second substrate is disposed on the first substrate. Finally, the coating is completely cured without a mask, forming a polymer dispersed liquid crystal film between the first and second substrate. Furthermore, the coating can also be cured with mask, forming a phase separation composite film between the first and second substrate.

A reactive and durable anti-static agent and the method of preparing the anti-static agent comprises: a compound with an amine group and a compound with an epoxide group added into the flask, stirred under the gradual raised temperature, reacted into an anti-static agent with a reactive functional group under proper temperature. The characteristics of the invention is that the reaction of preparing the anti-static agent is very active, and the preparing method is easy. With the reactive functional groups and polymer additives which enable the reaction in polymer, in addition to the endurance and a long lifetime, the surface property of the anti-static agent is improved. Therefore, the anti-static prepared according to the invention is broadly in use of industry.
