A housing member for a power transmission device connected to a driving source via a torque converter housed in the housing member includes a torque converter side mating face closer to the torque converter. The torque converter side mating face has a single-wall structure and a double-wall structure, wherein two adjacent fastening regions are connected circumferentially by a wall in the single-wall structure, and wherein two adjacent fastening regions are connected circumferentially by each of two walls in the double-wall structure. The torque converter side mating face includes: an upper half region in which the double-wall structure has a greater proportion in area than the single-wall structure; and a lower half region in which the double-wall structure has a less proportion in area than the single-wall structure.

Housing member for power transmission device

An internal combustion engine intake duct device is provided with an intake duct body and an air flow directing structure. The intake duct body has an inlet, a left outlet and a right outlet with an intake air passage formed in the intake duct body for supplying intake air from the inlet to left and right outlets. The inlet is disposed on an opposite side of the intake duct body from the left and right outlets and laterally between the left and right outlets in a top plan view. The air flow directing structure is arranged in the intake duct body to direct a flow of intake air entering from the inlet toward the left and right outlets. The air flow directing structure includes a first sound reflecting part serving to block sound from the left intake pipe and a second sound reflecting part serving to block sound from the right intake pipe.

Internal combustion engine intake device

A valve body or a throttle valve is disclosed that is capable of changing the amount of intake air into an engine according to a gradient angle of a valve body rotatably supported in an intake air passage. The valve body includes at least one first end surface and at least one second end surface formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. Air eddies occurring from air flow contact with the first and second end surfaces are shifted to each other.
