A fuel cell module includes a container and a plurality of cell members radially arranged inside the container. Inside the container, a first fluid flow path through which a first fluid that exchanges heat with an inner portion of the plurality of cell members flows is formed, and a second fluid flow path through which a second fluid that exchanges heat with an outer portion of the plurality of cell members flows is formed. A first heat exchange portion that forms the first fluid flow path and exchanges heat with the cell member has a smaller heat transfer area with the cell member than a second heat exchange portion that forms the second fluid flow path and exchanges heat with the cell member. The first fluid having a larger temperature difference with the cell member than the second fluid flows in the first fluid flow path.

Fuel cell module

An exhaust heat recovery device includes: a heating part for exchanging heat between a heating fluid and a working fluid; and a condensing part for exchanging heat between the working fluid evaporated by the heating part and a heated fluid to thereby condense the working fluid. The heating part has a tube in which the working fluid flows and whose upper end portion in a vertical direction is opened and whose lower end portion in the vertical direction is closed. The heating part has a storing part provided on an upper side in the vertical direction thereof, the storing part having a tube joint part to which the upper end portion in the vertical direction of the tube is joined and storing the working fluid condensed by the condensing part. The storing part has a condensed liquid holding part for holding the condensed working fluid.

Exhaust heat recovery device

An exhaust heat recovery device is provided with an evaporation portion for evaporating an operation fluid flowing therein by performing heat exchange with exhaust gas of an engine, a condensation portion for condensing the operation fluid flowing from the evaporation portion by performing heat exchange with coolant of the engine, and a flow adjusting portion for adjusting a flow amount of the operation fluid flowing from the condensation portion to the evaporation portion. A catalyst temperature detector is adapted to detect a temperature of a catalyst for purifying the exhaust gas, and a control unit sets a catalyst heating mode when the detected temperature of the catalyst is lower than a threshold value. Furthermore, the control unit causes the flow adjusting portion to adjust the flow amount of the operation fluid from the condensation portion to the evaporation portion at zero, in the catalyst heating mode.

A waste heat recovery device includes a heat pipe in which a working fluid for transporting heat is enclosed, and a mode-switching valve for switching a heat recovery mode and a heat insulation mode. The heat pipe has a heating part for heating and evaporating the working fluid and a cooling part for cooling and condensing the evaporated working fluid. The heating part is made of a steel through which hydrogen gas permeates about at 500&#xb0; C. and higher. In the heat recovery mode, the waste heat recovery device recovers heat of exhaust gas by using the heat pipe. Furthermore, in the heat insulation mode, a heat transport from the heating part to the cooling part is stopped.

An exhaust heat recovery apparatus includes an evaporation unit, a condensation unit, an evaporation-side communication part and a condensation-side communication part. The evaporation unit is disposed in a duct member through which an exhaust gas generated from an engine flows, and evaporates an operation fluid by heat of the exhaust gas. The condensation unit is disposed in a coolant passage through which a coolant flows, and condenses the operation fluid by radiating the heat to the coolant. The evaporation-side communication part connects the evaporation unit and the condensation unit for introducing evaporated operation fluid to the condensation unit. The condensation-side communication part connects the condensation unit and the evaporation unit for introducing condensed operation fluid to the evaporation unit. The condensation-side communication part is in contact with an outer surface of the duct member at least at a part.
