A vehicle may include a vehicle body including a floor panel, a battery pack located below the floor panel, and an energy absorption member located outwardly from the battery pack in a vehicle width direction and fixing the battery pack to the vehicle body. The energy absorption member may be a hollow member extending along a vehicle longitudinal direction and having a constant cross section along the vehicle longitudinal direction. An inner sidewall of the energy absorption member that faces the battery pack may incline downwardly in a vehicle height direction as it extends inwardly in the vehicle width direction.

Vehicle having an energy absorption member

A vehicle may include a vehicle body including a floor panel, a battery pack located below the floor panel and an energy absorption member located outwardly from the battery pack in a vehicle width direction and fixing the battery pack to the vehicle body. A support that protrudes downwardly may be disposed on a lower wall of the battery pack. The energy absorption member may include a protrusion that protrudes inwardly in the vehicle width direction toward the support. A tip end of the protrusion may include a contact surface being in contact with a side surface of the support in the vehicle width direction.

Vehicle

An electric vehicle may include: a floor panel; and a battery pack located below the floor panel. the battery pack may include: a bottom plate; a plurality of battery stacks distributed on the bottom plate along a longitudinal direction of the electric vehicle with an interval provided between the battery stacks; a battery crossmember located between the battery stacks; a plurality of end plates each of which is fixed to a side surface of corresponding one of the battery stacks; a first load transmitting component extending from the battery crossmember to a position located higher than upper surfaces of the battery stacks; and a second load transmitting component located outward of the first load transmitting component in the width direction. The second load transmitting component may be a component extending to a position higher than the upper surfaces of the battery stacks.

Electric vehicle

A rocker structure includes: a closed cross-sectional part that extends along a vehicle front-rear direction on an outer side of a floor panel of a vehicle in a vehicle width direction, the closed cross-sectional part including an outer wall and an inner wall located respectively on an outer side and an inner side of the closed cross-sectional part in the vehicle width direction; and a horizontal plate propped between the outer wall and the inner wall along the vehicle width direction, the horizontal plate having ridges protruding upward in a vehicle height direction and valleys depressed downward in the vehicle height direction that are provided alternately along the vehicle width direction, an amount of protrusion of the ridges and an amount of depression of the valleys varying from an outer wall side toward an inner wall side.

Rocker structure

A rocker structure includes a closed cross-sectional part that extends along a vehicle front-rear direction on the outer side of a floor panel of a vehicle in a vehicle width direction, a horizontal plate, and a first vertical plate. The closed cross-sectional part includes an outer wall, an inner wall, a lower wall, and an upper wall. The horizontal plate has a ridge and a valley, and is propped along the vehicle width direction between the outer wall and the inner wall, and the ridge and the valley are provided alternately along the vehicle width direction. The ridge protrudes upward in the vehicle-height direction, and the valley is depressed downward in the vehicle-height direction. The first vertical plate is propped along the vehicle-height direction between the horizontal plate and one of the lower wall and the upper wall.
