A tube or a hose including a fluoroelastomer and a polytetrafluoroethylene, the tube or the hose being an extruded article. The polytetrafluoroethylene is dispersed in a state of single particles in the extruded article, or the polytetrafluoroethylene has a specific surface area of less than 8 m/g. Provided is a laminate comprising a fluoroelastomer layer and a polymer layer, wherein the fluoroelastomer layer is formed of a fluoroelastomer composition containing a fluoroelastomer, a basic polyfunctional compound, and a polytetrafluoroethylene, and the polytetrafluoroethylene is dispersed in a state of single particles in the fluoroelastomer layer.

A magnet wire including a conductor and an insulating coating formed on an outer periphery of the conductor. The insulating coating contains a copolymer containing a tetrafluoroethylene unit and a fluoroalkyl vinyl ether unit. The copolymer has a melt flow rate of 10 to 60 g/10 min, and the copolymer has a fluoroalkyl vinyl ether unit content of 6.2 to 8.0% by mass based on a total content of monomer units.

Provided is a method for testing a melt-fabricable fluororesin injection-molded article which enables easy determination of whether or not a tested article is a defective article due to a crack or delamination. The method for testing a melt-fabricable fluororesin injection-molded article includes determining whether or not a melt-fabricable fluororesin injection-molded article is defective due to a crack or delamination based on a stress-strain curve or tensile strength-strain curve obtained by a tensile test performed on the injection-molded article.

Method for testing melt-processible fluororesin injection-molded product and method for producing melt-processible fluororesin injection-molded product

A molded article containing a copolymer including a tetrafluoroethylene unit and a perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) unit, wherein a surface roughness Ra of the molded article is 0.20 μm or less, and a water contact angle of the molded article is 80 degrees or less. Also disclosed is a method for producing the molded article.

Molded article and production method therefor

A fluororesin including a vinylidene fluoride unit and a tetrafluoroethylene unit. The fluororesin has a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry total ion chromatogram including a peak which is assigned to a component having a molecular weight of 202 to 903 and which has a peak intensity of 1000 or lower. Also disclosed is a molded article formed from the fluororesin.

Fluororesin and molded object

The present invention aims to provide a laminate in which a fluororesin layer and a fluororubber layer are firmly bonded. The present invention relates to a laminate including: a fluororubber layer (A); and a fluororesin layer (B) stacked on the fluororubber layer (A), the fluororubber layer (A) being formed from a fluororubber composition, the fluororubber composition containing a fluororubber, a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene, and a multifunctional compound, the amount of the multifunctional compound being 5 parts by mass or more relative to 100 parts by mass of the fluororubber.

Laminate

The invention provides a laminate including a fluoroelastomer layer and a fluororesin layer which are firmly bonded to each other. The laminate includes a fluoroelastomer layer (A) and a fluororesin layer (B) stacked on the fluoroelastomer layer (A). The fluoroelastomer layer (A) is a layer formed from a fluoroelastomer composition. The fluoroelastomer composition contains a fluoroelastomer, a basic multifunctional compound, and at least one compound (a) selected from the group consisting of a fluororesin (a1) and a phosphorus compound (a2). The compound (a) is present in an amount of 0.01 to 120 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the fluoroelastomer. The fluororesin layer (B) is formed from a fluororesin (b1) having a fuel permeability coefficient of 2.0 g&#xb7;mm/m/day or lower.

Adding silica particles having specified collective characteristics to a fluororubber formulation enhances direct adhesion between the fluororubber formulation and a copolymer upon curing. Specifically, as measured before being mixed into the fluororubber formulation, the silica particles have an average value of the product '(particle size)&#xd7;(circularity)' that is 17.5 nm or higher and 500 &#x3bc;m or lower. The silica particles may also have an average particle size of between 25.0 nm inclusive and 500 &#x3bc;m inclusive, and an average circularity of 0.80 or higher. Alternatively, as measured after being incorporated into the fluororubber formulation and then cured, the silica particles have an apparent average value of the product '(particle size)&#xd7;(circularity)' that is 32.0 nm or higher and 500 &#x3bc;m or lower. The silica particles may also have an apparent average particle size of between 40.0 nm inclusive and 500 &#x3bc;m inclusive as measured after being incorporated into the fluororubber formulation and then cured.

A laminate including: (A) a layer containing a perfluororesin, (B) a layer containing a polymer having a chlorotrifluoroethylene unit, and (C) a layer containing a non-fluorinated polymer. Also disclosed is a tube including the laminate.

Layered body and tube

A sheet containing a carbon fiber and a fluororesin layer disposed around a carbon monofilament constituting the carbon fiber. A fluororesin constituting the fluororesin layer is polyvinylidene fluoride. Further, the sheet has a tensile strength of 400 MPa or higher. Also disclosed is a laminate including a first layer and a second layer that is disposed on the first layer and that includes the sheet; a pipe including the laminate; a riser tube including the pipe and a flowline including the pipe.

A laminate including: a rubber layer (A); and a fluororesin layer (B) laminated on the rubber layer (A), the rubber layer (A) being formed of a rubber composition for vulcanization containing: at least one unvulcanized rubber (a1) selected from acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber and its hydride, styrene-butadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, butadiene rubber, natural rubber, isoprene rubber, ethylene-propylene-termonomer-copolymer rubber, silicone rubber, butyl rubber, and acrylic rubber; at least one compound (a2) selected from 1,8-diazabicyclo(5.4.0)undec-7-ene salts, 1,5-diazabicyclo(4.3.0)-non-5-ene salts, 1,8-diazabicyclo(5.4.0)undec-7-ene, and 1,5-diazabicyclo(4.3.0)-non-5-ene; at least one compound (a3) selected from aldehyde-amine compounds and metal hydrates; magnesium oxide (a4); and silica (a5), the fluororesin layer (B) being formed of a fluoropolymer composition containing a fluoropolymer (b1) having a copolymer unit derived from chlorotrifluoroethylene.

The invention provides a laminate in which a fluororesin layer and a rubber layer are firmly bonded to each other and the fluororesin layer has low fuel permeability and is less likely to suffer solvent cracking. The laminate includes a rubber layer (A) and a fluororesin layer (B). The fluororesin layer (B) contains a copolymer containing a chlorotrifluoroethylene unit, a tetrafluoroethylene unit, and a perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether unit. The copolymer contains 96.0 to 97.4 mol % of the chlorotrifluoroethylene unit and the tetrafluoroethylene unit relative to all the monomer units constituting the copolymer and 2.6 to 4.0 mol % of the perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether unit relative to all the monomer units constituting the copolymer.
