Provided is a control device for a machine tool that can suitably shred chips in a state without good conformability. A control device for a machine tool which oscillates a tool and a workpiece relative to each other while machining comprises: a comparison unit that compares the oscillation amplitude calculated value calculated by an oscillation amplitude calculation unit and the oscillation amplitude minimum value set by a minimum value setting unit; an oscillation command generation unit that generates an oscillation command on the basis of the oscillation condition and the value of the oscillation amplitude obtained from the comparison results of the comparison unit; and a position/speed control unit that oscillates the workpiece and the tool relative to each other on the basis of a superimposition command obtained by superimposing the oscillation command over a position command.

Control device for machine tool

Provided is a machine tool control device that can generate movement commands of any required command form and that can also suppress the deviation of a peak position during air cutting. A machine tool control devicethat performs processing while making a tool and a workpiece oscillate relative to each other. The machine tool control devicecomprises an oscillation conditions setting unitthat sets oscillation conditions, an oscillation phase division unitthat divides an oscillation phase into a plurality of segments, a layered command calculation unitthat, for each of the divided segments, calculates a layered command as a movement command on the basis of the oscillation conditions, and a position and speed control unitthat makes the tool and the workpiece oscillate relative to each other on the basis of the layered commands.

A controller includes a storage unit storing a plurality of sets of recommended setting values or recommended setting ranges regarding parameters for controlling an axis of a machine tool or an industrial machine or for controlling a motor, wherein set contents of the plurality of sets of recommended setting values or recommended setting ranges vary depending on a property of the machine tool, the industrial machine, or the motor; a comparing unit configured to compare input parameters with the recommended setting values or the recommended setting ranges corresponding to the property of a control target; and a comparison result presenting unit configured to present a warning when the input parameters differ from the recommended setting values or deviate from the recommended setting ranges corresponding to the property of the control target.

Controller

A servo motor controller includes: a servo motor; a driven member which is driven by the servo motor and in which a load acting on a drive axis is varied depending on the position of the driven member; a position detection portion and a speed detection portion for the driven member; and a motor control portion, where the motor control portion includes: a position control portion which calculates a speed command based on a positional error between a position command for the driven member and the position FB; a speed control portion which calculates a torque command by multiplying a speed error between the speed command and the speed FB by a speed gain and/or adding a torque offset to the speed error; and a change portion which changes at least one of the speed gain and the torque offset according to the position of the driven member.

Servo motor controller

A motor drive device is capable of allowing a user to surely recognize that effect when a cutting fluid adheres to a casing. The motor drive device includes an electronic component and a casing that houses the electronic component. A part of the casing changes color when coming in contact with a cutting fluid and the casing may change to different colors based on the concentration of the cutting fluid.

A motor control device which controls a motor in a machine tool or an industrial machine includes: a power outage detection unit that detects a power outage of a power source which supplies electric power for driving the motor; a DC link voltage detection unit that detects a value of a DC link voltage applied to an amplifier which drives the motor; a comparison unit which compares the value of the DC link voltage with a predetermined threshold value; a torque command generation unit which generates a torque command for driving the motor; a torque limit value setting unit which sets a torque limit value in accordance with a result of a comparison by the comparison unit; and a torque command limit unit which limits the torque command to the torque limit value when a power outage is detected by the power outage detection unit.

A motor control device includes: a power failure detection unit that detects a power failure; a voltage detection unit that detects a DC link voltage; a switch unit which connects a motor to an amplifier or a resistance; a voltage comparison unit which compares a DC link voltage with a threshold value; a limit value setting unit which sets a torque limit value in accordance with a result of comparison; a torque command limit unit which limits a torque command when a power failure is detected; a prediction value calculation unit which calculates, using an angular velocity, a torque prediction value of the motor when the motor is connected to the resistance; and a torque comparison unit which compares the torque limit value with the torque prediction value, in which in accordance with a result of comparison, the switch unit connects the motor to the amplifier or the resistance.

A motor driving device includes: a rectifier that rectifies an AC current and outputs a DC current to a DC link; an inverter unit that converts the DC current to an AC current for a motor; an initial charging unit that initially charges a smoothing capacitor with the DC current that flows through a charging resistor; a storage unit that stores a load capability of the charging resistor; a power calculation unit that calculates an amount of power generated in the charging resistor in response to the DC current flowing therethrough; and an opening/closing unit that shuts off the DC current from flowing in the smoothing capacitor when the amount of power reaches the load capability during an initial charging period and allows the DC current to flow in the smoothing capacitor after the shutoff when the amount of power is smaller than or equal to a threshold value.
