A slot-less motor includes a rotor and a stator which is equipped with a coil assembly made of a combination of a plurality of coils. Each of the coils is designed as an air core coil which includes a pair of effective coil portions and a pair of coil ends. The coils assembly has the effective coil portions each of which is disposed in air cores of the respective adjacent coils. The coils include first coils each of which is not located between a center line and each of outer outlines of a respective adjacent one of the first coils.

Slot-less motor

A rotor includes a rotor core, permanent magnets, and a tubular non-magnetic cover. The permanent magnets are arranged along an outer surface of the rotor core in the circumferential direction. The permanent magnets each include a curved outer surface as viewed in the axial direction. The tubular non-magnetic cover covers the outer surfaces of the permanent magnets. The rotor core includes at least two stacked cores. Each stacked core includes a stack of core sheets. One of the stacked cores is formed from a material having a lower hardness than the other stacked core.

A motor includes a stator, a first frame, a second frame, and a fastening member. The stator includes a stator core including a plurality of teeth extending radially inward and an armature winding wound around the teeth. The first frame is arranged to cover one axial end surface side of the stator. The second frame is arranged to cover another axial end surface side of the stator. The fastening member fastens the first frame and the second frame to each other with the stator core held by the first frame and the second frame in the axial direction. The circumference of the stator core and the circumference of at least one of the first frame and the second frame each include a circumferential positioning recess. The circumferential positioning recess is arranged at a circumferential reference position and is outwardly open in the radial direction.

A motor includes a rotation shaft, a stator, and a rotor. The stator includes an armature winding and a stator core including a main core portion with an axial stack of core sheets and a magnetic plate on an end thereof. Each core sheet includes a tooth formation portion around which the armature winding is wound. The magnetic plate includes a stacked portion and an axially extending portion. The stacked portion stacked on the axial end of the main core portion and includes an end located toward the rotor. The axially extending portion extends toward the outer side in the axial direction from the end of the stacked portion located toward the rotor and is opposed to the rotor in a radial direction of the motor. The axially extending portion is shaped to be magnetically skewed in a circumferential direction relative to the tooth formation portion and the stacked portion.

Motor, method for manufacturing magnetic plate, and method for manufacturing stator

A motor includes a stator having a stator core, a first frame and a second frame, which are arranged on two axial sides of the stator core, a coupling member, which couples the first and second frames at a radially outer side of the stator while applying a holding load to the first and second frames in the axial direction, and a rotor, which is arranged at a radially inner side of the stator. The stator core includes a held portion that projects toward a radially outer side from a main circumferential portion of the stator core. The first and second frames hold, in between, at least the held portion of the stator core in the axial direction.

Motor

A stator core is sandwiched between a first frame and a second frame. A fastening member fastens the first frame and the second frame. The first frame includes a ring flange that is in contact with an attachment surface of the motor attachment portion. The flange includes a fixing portion fixed to the attachment surface and a fastening portion, which receives fastening force by the fastening member. The first frame includes a deform suppression portion for suppressing deformation of the fixing member when the fastening member is fastened.

A motor has a motor body and a control unit, which is joined to the motor body. A resolver is connected to the control unit through a flat cable. The flat cable is arranged such that the width direction of the flat cable corresponds with a circumferential direction of the motor body. The flat cable extends outwardly in a radial direction of the motor case.

Motor and motor for electric power steering

A motor body has feeder terminals. Connecting ends of the corresponding feeder terminals are exposed radially outward from a motor case. The motor body has an end frame having an attachment portion. In this configuration, a control unit is fixed to the attachment portion and connecting terminals of the control unit are arranged to be allowed to contact the corresponding connecting ends. By fastening the fastening screws at positions radially outward of the motor case, the connecting terminals of the control unit are connected to the connecting ends of the motor body.
