A board terminal is formed by cutting a metal wire material at a predetermined length, the metal wire material having a cross-sectional shape similar to and slightly larger than a terminal holding hole. A press-fit portion press-fitted to the terminal holding hole is pressure-forged in a direction orthogonal to an axis. Thereby, a tapered portion and a stepped edge portions are provided on both sides of the pressure-forging direction, the tapered portion tapering toward a press-fit direction, the stepped edge portion being provided to an end side of the tapered portion. Further, externally projected portions are provided to both sides of the press-fit portion in the direction orthogonal to the axis which is orthogonal to the pressure-forging direction.

Board terminal

A flexible wiring member, which is capable of being wound around a wire harness, is provided with joint-side terminals, which are capable of being fitted with wire-side terminals, and the flexible wiring member includes a connection circuit for electrically connecting specified joint-side terminals in the joint-side terminals. Or, a plurality of joint-side terminals are previously held in the insulation housing, and these joint-side terminals are connected with a common flexible wiring member.

Joint member and joint connector for wire harness

An electrical connector box having a thin cross section by positioning the fuse receptacle and connector receptacles to the lateral sides of the case. An internal circuit block is located over the lower case; a relay module, on which multiple relays are installed on an insulator board, is located on the internal circuit block at the central region of the case; and a fuse module, on which multiple fuses are installed; and connector modules, on which multiple connector receptacles are respectively installed, are located externally around the perimeter of the relay module. An upper case covers the relay module, fuse module, and connector modules, and the fuse module and the connector modules are externally exposed in the horizontal direction between the lower case and the upper case.

Electrical connector box

An electrical connector box including a pressure contact terminal to connect to electrical wires of various diameters. A container including an upper case and lower case houses electrical wires which are gripped by slots of pressure contact terminals. Either a thick wire, which includes a core wire including multiple twisted strands, or a thin wire, which includes a single core wire, are able to connect to the uniform width slots of the pressure contact terminals.

Automotive electrical connector box

An automotive relay and electrical connector box in which relays provided in the connector box do not include an integrated resistor, but provide for the attachment of a resistor only when a relay is connected to a circuit requiring resistance. When a common relay which does not include an internal resistor parallel-wired to the coil therein requires the connection of a resistor, both leads of a lead-type resistor are welded to terminals that project from the relay body.

Automotive relay and electrical connector box

A thin, lightweight electrical connector box utilizing fewer components due to a construction in which air, instead of insulator boards, is used as the insulating material between the ECU, other electrical components, and an internal circuit contained within the electrical connector box. Externally facing connector modules are sandwiched between a lower case and un upper case. Mounting posts are formed on each end of connector modules to fixedly secure two ends of an ECU baseboard through insertion into opposing holes formed therein. The ECU baseboard is supported by connector modules within the region between the lower case and the upper case.

Splice absorbing structure for motor vehicle

A method is provided of connecting wires of a wiring harness to a junction box to form branch circuits. An electrical conductor material is formed in parallel strips in a Y-axis direction on one surface of an insulator board, and wires are arranged in an X-axis direction on the other side of the insulator board. A circuit assembly is formed by connecting the exposed cores of one end of the wires to the conductor material through openings provided in the insulator board. Connector terminals are installed at the other end of the wires that extend outward and away from the insulator board. Groups of wires are gathered and placed in same connectors in which joint terminals are provided. The wires are joined to the connectors to form multiple wire harnesses. The aforesaid circuit assembly is then installed within an upper and lower case assembly provided with lateral openings through which the wire harness can pass.

Junction box and wire harness connection method

A busbar is arranged along a clearance, which is a dead space between a plurality of relay mounting portions and a fuse mounting portion in a block main body. The busbar is provided with narrow fusible links and tabs for connection with relays and fuses. The tabs are formed by bending portions of the busbar at positions downstream of the fusible links and are inserted through terminal holes in the relay mounting portions and the fuse mounting portion. The fusible links are set to be fusible at 30 amperes or higher, and a power supply is connected with the relays via the fusible link portions.

Electrical connection box and method for producing it

An electrical connector box includes a connector box case configured to guide a wire along a side of the case, a relay terminal having pinch blades on one end thereof, the pinch blades having a slot therebetween and configured to hold the wire in the slot. The connector box also includes one of a female and male connector on the other end of the relay terminal, the one of a female and male connector configured to connect to a terminal of at least a relay, a fuse and a connector. The slot is configured to be welded closed, or the pinch blades are configured to weldingly secure the wire thereto.

An electrical junction box for a vehicle has a casing, and an electrical circuit comprising a fuse connection circuit, a relay connection circuit and a connector connection circuit. The casing has, at opposite sides, connector sockets for electrical connectors. In the casing is a connector module comprising a plurality of insulation substrates stacked one on another and parallel elongated bus bars on a first surface of each substrate and parallel flexible conductors on a second surface of the substrate, which extend orthogonally to said bus bars. Each said insulation substrate has apertures through it at which the bus bars and flexible conductors are connected to each other to provide desired circuit connections. The bus bars extend from the insulation substrates and provide tabs projecting into the connector sockets. A thin junction box is obtained.

Electrical junction box for a vehicle

The present invention provides an electrical junction box suitable for connection, for example, to a wire harness in a vehicle such as an automobile. The box is adapted to provide electrical connection to a plurality of electrical connectors, a plurality of fuses and a plurality of relays, the box having a casing, a connector circuit having a plurality of first bus bars, a fuse circuit discrete from the connector circuit and having a plurality of second bus bars and a relay circuit discrete from the connector circuit and having a plurality of third bus bars. At least one of the second and at least one of the third bus bars are welded to respective ones of the first bus bars at welding portions which are received in a protection structure which presses them towards each other. The protection structure clamps the joined welding portions so that the risk of disconnection of the welded connection is reduced or avoided.
