A medical elongated body includes a tube shaped body provided with a spiral slit. The tube shaped body has a pair of opposing surfaces, on both sides of the slit, opposing surfaces have a first side and a second side, a first convex portion protrudes from the first side and a second convex portion protrudes from the second side, the first convex portion and the second convex portion are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction of the tube shaped body, and base portions of the first convex portion and the second convex portion are located on a common first spiral.

Medical elongated body

A medical device is disclosed for cutting an object in a living body lumen. The medical device includes a rotatable elongate member, rotating member having a cutting portion cutting the object and disposed on the distal end side of the elongate member for rotating together with rotation of the elongate member; and a distal member having a guide portion disposed on the distal end side of the rotating member with a space left from the rotating member and a supporting portion which supports the guide portion and defines a dimension of the space in an axial direction of the elongate member. The guide portion is disposed at a position at which the guide portion overlaps with part of the cutting portion and exposes part of the cutting portion as viewed from the distal end side of the distal member.

Medical device

A method and dissecting device are disclosed for treating a stenotic vessel. The method including inserting a dissecting device into a subintimal space of a blood vessel; dissecting an inner side of the subintimal space from an outer side of the subintimal space over an entire circumference of the blood vessel with the dissecting device, the dissecting device including a first dissecting member having a first cutting member; and removing the dissected inner side of the subintimal space and a stenotic region attached to the inner side of the subintimal space from the blood vessel.

Atherectomy with subintimal space

A method and dissecting device are disclosed for treating a stenotic vessel. The method including inserting a first dissecting member into a subintimal space of a blood vessel and a second dissecting device configured to be received within a lumen within the first dissecting device and inserted into the blood vessel in a bent state; dissecting an inner side of the subintimal space from an outer side of the subintimal space over an entire circumference of the blood vessel with the first dissecting device; and removing the dissected inner side of the subintimal space and a stenotic region attached to the inner side of the subintimal space from the blood vessel.

A treatment device is disclosed for treatment of a living body lumen. The treatment device can include an optical fiber having an emitting part that emits laser light from a side circumferential surface. Two or more grooves are provided in the emitting part at places different in a longitudinal direction of the emitting part. The two or more grooves have two or more kinds of shapes and intensities of the laser light emitted from the grooves adjacent to each other are different. A maximum region of intensity of the laser light emitted from the emitting part is located on one end side relative to a center position in the longitudinal direction of the emitting part. The intensity of the laser light emitted from the emitting part on the other end side of the emitting part relative to a position of the maximum region decreases toward the other end side.

Treatment device and living body lumen treatment method

A laser light irradiation device is disclosed, which can include an optical guide having a columnar portion and transmitting laser light through the columnar portion; a reflecting portion having a reflecting surface that reflects the laser light transmitted through the optical guide; and a transmitting portion having a window part and disposed between the columnar portion of the optical guide and the reflecting portion in such a manner that one end of the transmitting portion is in contact with the columnar portion, the transmitting portion transmitting the laser light emitted from the columnar portion to the reflecting portion and transmitting the laser light reflected by the reflecting surface to cause the laser light to be radiated to an external through the window part. A diameter of the reflecting surface gradually becomes smaller as distance from a boundary between the transmitting portion and the reflecting portion increases.

Laser light irradiation device

A method and dissecting device are disclosed for treating a stenotic vessel. The method including inserting a directional guide member of a dissecting device into a subintimal space of a blood vessel, the dissecting device including the directional guide member and a cutting member located proximally to a distal end of the directional guide member; and cutting a stenotic region within the blood vessel with the cutting member while advancing the distal end of the directional guide member through the subintimal space.

A medical equipment information management system includes a medical equipment information storage medium capable of storing and transmitting medical equipment information and disposed in a packing unit configured to package medical equipment, a medical equipment information reception block configured to receive the medical equipment information transmitted from the medical equipment information storage medium, and a display unit configured to display the medical equipment information received by the medical equipment information reception block, wherein the medical equipment information storage medium cannot transmit the medical equipment information when the packing unit is in a non-opened state, but is placed into a state in which it can transmit the medical equipment information if the packing unit is opened.
