An image pickup apparatus includes an image sensor configured to capture an object image, an electronic device configured to perform processing relating to imaging, a duct thermally connected to the electronic device, a first airflow generating unit configured to generate first airflow for cooling the electronic device in the duct, and a second airflow generating unit disposed outside the duct and configured to generate second airflow for cooling the image sensor.

An electrolyzer stores of electrolytic cells, in which a pressing force applied to the stack is maintained by automatically adjusting the position of a locking mechanism of a safety device. Provided is a distance detection device attached to a position at which it surrounds a camera lens device. The distance detection device has a light emitting element configured to irradiate a target region with irradiation light and a light receiving element configured to receive reflected light of the irradiation light from a target in the target region. The distance detection device acquires distance information indicating a distance to the target on the basis of a time until the light receiving element receives the reflected light after the light emitting element performs irradiation with the irradiation light and communicates the distance information.

A rotational operation device that is capable of setting an operation mode corresponding to a user's intention even when rotation of a rotational operation member stops on the way during a rotational operation. A rotational operation member is rotatable around a rotation axis. A click force application mechanism applies click force to the rotational operation member according to its rotational operation. A detection unit detects rotation of the rotational operation member. A setting unit sets one operation mode from among a plurality of predetermined operation modes in response to a detection output of the detection unit. The setting unit switches the operation mode according to a rotational operation of the rotational operation member before a position where the click force applied to the rotational operation member by the click force application mechanism becomes zero in a case where the rotational operation member is rotated in a first direction.

An electronic apparatus which independently detects opening/closing and rotation of a display unit, and displays an image suitable for an opened/closed and rotated state of the display unit. The opening/closing sensor, the rotation sensor, and a magnet are arranged so that: when the display unit is closed with respect to an apparatus main body with the display panel facing a rear of the apparatus main body, both sensors detect a positive magnetic field; when the display unit is opened, an opening/closing detection result is switched not to detect the magnetic field in a range of an opening/closing angle from 90&#xb0; to 175&#xb0;, and the rotation sensor detects the magnetic field; and when the display unit is rotated, the opening/closing sensor does not detect the magnetic field, and a rotation detection result is switched to detect the magnetic field in a range of a rotating angle from 90&#xb0; to 180&#xb0;.
