The handrail for getting on and off includes a rail portion for slidably holding one end portion of the link arm which expands and contracts with the movement of the slide door, and a handrail body configured to rotate integrally with the rail portion. When the slide door closes the entrance, the entrance handrail takes a retracted posture in which one end portion of the link arm is located at the other end portion of the rail part and the handrail body is arranged along the slide door. When the slide door opens the entrance, the entrance handrail takes a deployed posture in which one end portion of the link arm is positioned on one end portion side of the rail portion so that the rail portion and the handrail body protrude toward the outside of the vehicle.

Entrance handrail

The seat for a vehicle includes a side airbag having a head chamber. The head chamber is housed along the upper frame of the seat back. The head chamber is inflated and deployed between the shoulder belt and the head upon side impact, receiving a delivery of gases from the inflator. Here, the head chamber is configured to be housed in an inner roll folded state in which the front end of the roll folding from the front end portion in the sheet longitudinal direction is wound in a roll shape so as to be wound around the sheet outside, and the front end of the roll folding from the intermediate portion is wound in a roll shape so as to be wound around the sheet inside.

Seat for vehicle and folding method of side airbag

A vehicle seat includes a seat back, an inflator, and a side airbag. The side airbag includes a head chamber housed along an upper frame of the seat back and configured to inflate and deploy between a shoulder belt and a head in response to supply of gas from the inflator in an event of side collision. The head chamber is housed while being folded in a seat up-and-down direction to reduce a vertical width and then rolled from a front end in a seat fore-and-aft direction.

An entrance handrail includes: a base portion rotatably provided with an up-down direction as an axial direction; a rail portion extending from a lower portion of the base portion and holding a slide member to be slidable, the slide member being attached to a sliding door; a first handrail body extending from an upper portion of the base portion, disposed on a vehicle cabin side when the sliding door closes the entrance, and projecting outward of the vehicle such that a passenger can hold the first handrail body when the sliding door opens the entrance; and second handrail body disposed on the vehicle cabin side with respect of the rail portion when the sliding door closes the entrance and disposed inward of the rail portion in a width direction of the entrance such that the passenger can hold the second handrail body when the sliding door opens the entrance.

A vehicle side airbag device including an inflator, a side airbag, and a duct is installed at a side section on a vehicle width direction outer side of a seatback of a vehicle seat configured to restrain an occupant using a three-point seatbelt. The side airbag receives a supply of gas from the inflator in a vehicle side-on collision. As a result, a waist chamber is inflated and deployed from a lower portion of the side section toward a side of a waist of the occupant, and a head chamber is inflated and deployed from an upper face side of the side section toward a side of a head of the occupant. The duct extends along a vertical direction of the side airbag inside the side airbag, and is configured to guide gas from the inflator into the waist chamber and into the head chamber.
