Speed reducer

A steering device according to one embodiment includes: an input device including an input shaft to which rotation associated with operation is transmitted, and a transmission shaft that is disposed orthogonal to the input shaft and rotates in conjunction with the input shaft; a reducer receiving a rotational drive force from the input device and outputting a rotational force about a rotational axis with a reduced rotational speed and an increased torque; a motor providing a rotational auxiliary force to the reducer in a direction that augments the rotational driving force; and an output arm coupled to the reducer and rotating about the rotational axis in a predetermined angular range by the rotational force outputted by the reducer. The input device is disposed on one side of the reducer. The motor is disposed adjacent to a direction orthogonal to the transmission shaft and on the one side of the reducer.

Steering device

A speed reducer according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes an input rotating body, a speed reducing mechanism unit, and a tubular case. The speed reducer is rotatable when acted upon by power fed from a drive device. The speed reducing mechanism unit reduces a speed of rotation of the input rotating body. The tubular case covers an outer surface of the speed reducing mechanism unit and rotates when acted upon by speed-reduced power from the speed reducing mechanism unit. An output arm is formed integrally with the tubular case, the output arm extending radially outward from an outer peripheral surface of the tubular case and configured to transmit a manipulating force to an outside.

Gear for speed reducer

A speed reducer includes an input rotating body, a base block, a speed reducing mechanism unit and a tubular case. The input rotating body is rotatable when acted upon by power from a drive device. The base block supports the input rotating body rotatably. The speed reducing mechanism unit reduces a speed of rotation of the input rotating body. The tubular case externally covers the speed reducing mechanism unit and the base block. The tubular case is assembled onto the base block such that they are rotatable relative to each other. The speed-reduced rotation from the speed reducing mechanism unit is output from one of the tubular case and the base block. The base block has a fixture flange integrally formed therewith. The flange extends from a radially inner region within the tubular case radially outward beyond an outer peripheral surface of the tubular case.

A speed reducer according to the present invention includes: at least one gear member for changing a speed of rotations input from a rotary device and outputting the rotations; a case housing the gear member; and a heating unit provided on the case and configured to heat the case or an inside of the case.

Speed reducer and drive device

A speed reducer according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: an input gear; a plurality of spur gears configured to rotate in mesh with the input gear; one or more eccentric cams formed on each of a plurality of shafts, each of the plurality of shafts being coupled to corresponding one of the plurality of spur gears; and one or more eccentric gears each having a plurality of first through-holes and a plurality of second through-holes, each of the plurality of first through-holes rotatably supporting corresponding one of the one or more eccentric cams, the second through-holes being disposed adjacent to the first through-holes and formed asymmetrically as viewed from a direction of a central axis, and the one or more eccentric gear are configured to rotate eccentrically relative to a rotational axis of the input gear in conjunction with rotation of the one or more eccentric cams.

A brake device of the present invention includes: a wheel brake unit for braking a wheel; an electric motor for driving the wheel brake unit; a speed reducer for decelerating rotation of the electric motor; a rotation-linear motion converter for converting a rotational output of the speed reducer into a linear motion; and a braking force transmission member for transmitting the linear motion produced by the rotation-linear motion converter to the wheel brake unit.

Brake device and brake control system

A speed reducer according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a crankshaft and a speed reducing mechanism. The crankshaft includes a gear portion driven by rotation from a drive source and a journal portion formed integrally with the gear portion. The crankshaft rotates about an axis of the journal portion. The speed reducing mechanism decelerates rotation of the crankshaft and outputs the decelerated rotation.

An object of the present invention is to provide a steering assistance device that has a single line of final output, thereby to achieve downsizing. The assistance device of the present application includes a speed reducer configured to decelerate a driving force from a motor and output the decelerated driving force, wherein the speed reducer is configured to receive an operation force produced by an operation of a human.

Assistance device

One object is to provide a steering device that facilitates disengagement of a speed reducer so that, for example, when the speed reducer fails, the speed reducer can be disengaged to enable steering of a vehicle with a manual operational force alone. This application relates to a steering device provided with a steering mechanism and a speed reducer. The steering mechanism steers tires of a vehicle under a steering force from a steering wheel. The speed reducer is connected to a motor for outputting a steering assistance force corresponding to the steering force. The speed reducer enlarges the steering assistance force and transmits the enlarged steering assistance force to the steering mechanism. The speed reducer is connected to the steering mechanism via a speed reducer arm.

A gear device is provided with a carrier having a first member and a second member opposed to the first member in a rotation axis direction, a crankshaft configured to cause the carrier to rotate relative to an outer cylinder about a rotation axis, an insertion pin inserted into the first member and the second member, and a restriction member configured to restrict movement of the insertion pin. The insertion pin is housed in such a manner as to extend from a first hole over to a second hole, the first hole formed in the first member so as to extend through the first member, the second hole formed in the second member so as to correspond to the first hole. At least one of the first hole and the second hole has such a shape as to restrict movement of the insertion pin toward the second hole in the rotation axis direction. The restriction member is mounted in the first member so as to restrict movement of the insertion pin toward the first hole in the rotation axis direction.

Gear device

A gear device is provided with inner-tooth pins fitted into pin grooves of an outer cylinder, a carrier housed inside the outer cylinder, a crankshaft rotatably supported on the carrier, an oscillating gear having outer teeth meshable with the inner-tooth pins and configured to oscillate in conjunction with rotation of the crankshaft, while the outer teeth are meshed with the inner-tooth pins, and a restriction member configured to restrict movement of the inner-tooth pins in an axial direction. The restriction member is mounted to the outer cylinder on an outer side of the outer cylinder.
