A web conveying apparatus that conveys a web, includes: a transverse position displacement detection unit that detects a transverse position displacement of the web; a transverse position correction unit that corrects a transverse position of the web by a guide roller; width detection units that detect a width size in a left-right direction of the web; and a control unit that controls the transverse position correction unit in accordance with the transverse position displacement detected by the transverse position displacement detection unit and performs feedback control to position the web in a target position. The control unit changes a correction amount in the feedback control in accordance with the width size of the web detected by the width detection units.

An electromagnetically-driven valve includes intake valves that are provided in a gasoline engine and that are arranged side by side; a valve plate that connects the intake valves to each other, wherein driving force that is generated by electromagnetic force is transferred to the valve plate; and a changing mechanism that is fitted to the valve plate. The changing mechanism changes the valve drive state between the two-valve drive state, in which both of the intake valves are driven, and the one-valve drive state, in which one of the intake valves is driven and the other intake valve is stopped.

An electromagnetically driven valve includes a valve element, a main body, a disc, and a lower electromagnetic. The valve element includes a valve stem, and is reciprocated in the direction in which the valve stem extends. The main body is provided at a position distant from the valve element. The disc includes a driving end that is moved in conjunction with the valve stem, and a pivoting end that is supported by the main body such that the pivoting end can be oscillated. The disc is oscillated around a central axis that extends at the pivoting end. The lower electromagnet is disposed so as to face the disc. The lower electromagnetic includes a core made of magnetic material, and a coil wound in the core. The coil is offset to a driving end side with respect to a central of the core.

Electromagnetically driven valve

An electromagnetically driven valve includes a valve element, a main body, a disc, and a lower electromagnet. The valve element includes a valve stem, and is reciprocated in the direction in which the valve stem extends. The main body is provided at a position distant from the valve element. The disc includes a driving end that is moved in conjunction with the valve stem, and a pivoting end that is supported by the main body such that the pivoting end can be oscillated. The disc is oscillated around a central axis that extends at the pivoting end. The lower electromagnet is disposed so as to face the disc. The lower electromagnet includes a core made of magnetic material, and a coil wound in the core. The central axis is surrounded by a cylindrical bearing portion of the disc, which is made of magnetic material. The core has a cylindrical surface that faces the bearing portion.

An electromagnetically driven value includes a valve element that has a valve stem and that reciprocates in a direction in which the valve stem extends; a disc that extends from a driving end, which is operatively linked with the valve stem, to a pivoting end, and that pivots around a central axis which extends along the pivoting end; and a nonmagnetic body that is arranged between the disc and the valve stem.

An electromagnetically driven valve includes multiple valve elements that have respective valve shafts and reciprocate in a direction in which the valve shafts extend; a pivoting member that extends from a driving end, which is operatively linked with the valve shafts, to a pivoting end, and that pivots around a central axis which extends along the pivoting end; a support member that supports the valve elements; and a single push plate that drives the multiple valve elements when being pressed by the pivoting member.

An electromagnetically driven valve that is driven by the combined action of electromagnetic force and elastic force includes first and second valve elements that have valve shafts and move in reciprocating motions in the directions in which the valve shafts extend. It also includes first and second oscillating members that extend from driving ends to pivoting ends, and that pivot around respective central axes extending at the respective pivoting ends. The driving ends are operatively linked with the first and second valve elements, respectively. The electromagnetically driven valve also includes first and second coils that cause the first and second oscillating members to oscillate. The first and second coils are interconnected.

An electromagnetically driven valve that operates by a combination of electromagnetic force and elastic force includes a valve element that has a valve shaft and that reciprocates in directions of extension of the valve shaft, and first and second oscillating members that extend from driving ends to pivoting ends, and that pivot about central axes extending at the pivoting ends. The driving ends are operatively linked with the valve element. An electromagnet oscillates the first and second oscillating members. First and second measuring portions measure at least one of the oscillation angle, the amount of lift and the oscillating speed of the first and second oscillating members. A control portion computes energization control logics based on measurement values provided by the first and second measuring portions, and averages the energization control logics to control energization of the electromagnet.

The electromagnet includes a valve-opening side coil portion supplied with a current to thereby generate a first magnetic flux and generate electromagnetic force in a direction moving the valve-opening side moving element toward a valve-opening position, and a valve-closing side coil portion supplied with a current to thereby generate a second magnetic flux and generate electromagnetic force in a direction moving the valve-closing side moving element toward the valve-closing position. The valve-opening side coil portion and the valve-closing side coil portion are constituted of an identical connection. The electromagnet further has a sub-coil constituted of a separate connection from the valve-opening side coil portion and the valve-closing side coil portion. By the current supply to the sub-coil, a third magnetic flux reducing at least one of the first magnetic flux and the second magnetic flux is generated.

An electromagnetically driven valve device is formed by attaching a lower core assy, an armature, an upper core assy, and an upper case in that order from bottom, to a cylinder head of an engine. Each of the lower core assy and the upper core assy is unitarily formed so as to have a predetermined shape by resin-molding a core and a coil that form an electromagnet as well as an armature bearing, etc. The lower core assy is fastened together with the upper core assy to the cylinder head, and is thus attached to the mounting surface.
