Disclosed herein is an image projecting apparatus, including: a one-dimension type light modulating device for modulating a light in accordance with image information; a projection optical system; and a light deflecting device for deflecting an image light in a direction approximately perpendicular to an extension direction of a one-dimensional image light emitted from the one-dimensional light modulating device; wherein the light deflecting device is composed of a first light deflecting device arranged between the projection optical system and the one-dimension type light modulating device, and a second light deflecting device arranged on an emission side of the projection optical system; the second light deflecting device is detachably mounted.

Image projecting apparatus and image projecting method for use in the same

Light emitted from a light source is modulated and projected on a screen. The screen includes a securing member, a diffuser plate supported by the securing member using a plurality of elastic members, where the elastic members are disposed so that the diffuser plate is resiliently displaced in two directions in the plane of the diffuser plate, and a driving unit that moves the diffuser plate with respect to the securing member in the two directions in the plane of the diffuser plate.

Screen and image projection apparatus

In an image projection on a screen, an image projection apparatus improves the safety of entry into a projection region by the human body and does not bring about the increase of complexity of the configuration thereof owing to the improvement of the safety. A monitoring area is regulated on the outside of the projection area () of the screen (). A detection wave such as infrared rays is emitted from a detection wave source () of the image projection apparatus (). A reflection wave from the monitoring area is detected by reflection wave detection means () such as a CCD sensor. Whether the human body or an obstacle enters the monitoring space, which is surrounded by a detection wave () between the main body unit of the image projection apparatus () and the screen (), or not is detected. Once the entry is detected, the intensity of the radiation light traveling toward the projection area () is reduced or cut off according to the situation or the degree of the entry.

Image projector and image projecting method

A skew of an optical pickup device can be adjusted by a movable-side member itself which holds thereon an objective lens. A holder which holds an objective lens is supported by four spring wires such that it can be moved in the focusing direction and the tracking direction of an optical disk. A center of a magnetic circuit which drives the holder is shifted in the outer peripheral side relative to the optical disk. Elastic force of the spring wires of the inner peripheral side is suppressed by increasing the amount of a gel material bonded to the spring wires located on the inner peripheral side of the optical disk as a damping material as compared with the amount of the gel material bonded to the spring wires located on the outer peripheral side. Thus, the holder can be driven by a predetermined inclination in the focusing direction such that the optical axis of the objective lens becomes substantially perpendicular to the signal recording surface of the optical disk in response to the focus height changed due to the skew of the optical disk.
