This gas purification filter unit () is provided with: a first elimination unit () that eliminates gas component impurities among the impurities contained in ozone generated from an ozone generating device; and a second elimination unit () that is disposed at a later stage than the first elimination unit and that further eliminates solid particulate impurities from among the impurities from which the gas component has been eliminated. Optical pickup adjusting apparatus and adjusting method

An adjustment apparatus for adjusting an optical pickup capable of recording and/or reproducing optical discs of different sorts. The adjustment apparatus is an adjustment optical disc having a first signal recording layer of a physical format in common with a CD and a second signal recording layer of a physical format in common with a DVD. An optical pickup device includes a feed screw to move an optical pickup having an objective lens radially on an optical disc, a sliding member provided for slidable movement in relation to the optical pickup, and connected to the optical pickup by a coil spring that forces a shutter in a direction of unmasking the objective lens, and a connection member that connects the feed screw and sliding member to each other. As the feed screw is rotated, the sliding member moves the optical pickup radially on the optical disc, and when the optical pickup has arrived at a position at the lead-in side of the optical disc, the sliding member is further slid against the force of the coil spring to move the shutter and mask the objective lens.

The present invention is relative with an objective lens driving device used in an optical pickup device, and includes a stationary unit, a lens bobbin provided with an objective lens, at least one magnet provided on one of the lens bobbin and the stationary unit, a coil unit provided on the other of the lens bobbin and the stationary unit for causing movement of the lens bobbin in a direction parallel to the optical axis of the objective lens and in a planar direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the objective lens, and an elastic supporting unit of a stainless material, provided between a stationary unit and the lens bobbin. The elastic supporting unit supports the lens bobbin for movement in a direction parallel to the optical axis of the objective lens and in a planar direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the objective lens.
