To expand a body weight adjustment range and achieve thinning. An initial position adjusting memberwhich can adjust initial resilient forces of two torsion barsis provided. Therefore, a body weight adjustment range is expanded as compared with a conventional configuration where a resilient force of only one torsion bar is adjusted. Since a moving magnet unitis provided such that a moving direction of a moving body coincides with an approximately perpendicular direction to a mutual displacement direction of an upper framerelative to a lower frame, the thickness (height) of a fixed magnet unitis made thin as compared with a case where the moving magnet unit is provided such that the moving direction of the moving body coincides with approximately the same direction as the mutual displacement direction of the upper frame relative to the lower frame, so that the thickness of the whole seat suspension at a position at which the upper framehas come closest to the lower frame(a lower limit position) can be made thin.

Seat suspension

A reclining adjuster has a lower bracket fixed to a seat cushion; an upper bracket fixed to a seatback and connected to the lower bracket so as to be rotatable about a shaft; a lock mechanism capable of having a locked state where rotation of the upper bracket relative to the lower bracket is locked and a released state where the lock is released; and an emergency lock mechanism for preventing relative rotation between the lock mechanism and the upper bracket when it occurs. In the emergency lock mechanism, when a cam projection of an outer toothed ring gear is pressed in the circumferential direction by a cam pin of a disk member by the relative rotation therebetween, the outer toothed ring gear meshes with both inner teeth of the lower bracket and inner teeth of the upper bracket.

Reclining adjuster

A seat height adjusting device includes first and second brackets spaced away from each other, an arm disposed between the first and second brackets and having first and second ends pivotally mounted on the first bracket and a seat support, a spur gear operable to rotate the arm, first and second latches engageable with the spur gear, and a handle rotatably mounted on the first or second bracket. One of the first and second brackets is joined to a seat frame. When the seat is raised, the handle is operated to intermittently engage the first latch with the spur gear, thereby rotating the spur gear in a first direction to drive the arm. To lower the seat, the handle is operated to intermittently engage the second latch with the spur gear, thereby rotating the spur gear in a direction opposite the first direction to drive the arm.

Seat height adjusting device

A recliner adjuster for appropriately adjusting an inclination of a seat back with respect to a seat cushion includes a worm rotatably mounted on the seat cushion, and a helical gear held in engagement with the worm and mounted on the seat back via an auxiliary locking mechanism. The auxiliary locking mechanism includes a pair of external gears connected to the helical gear and held in engagement with a portion of the seat back, and a pair of internal teeth mounted on the seat cushion so as to accommodate the pair of external gears therein, respectively. During normal use, the seat back is held at a predetermined angle with respect to the seat cushion by the engagement of the helical gear with the worm, while when a load greater than a predetermined value is inputted to the seat back, the pair of external gears are partly deformed to engage with the pair of internal teeth, respectively, to thereby hold the seat back at the predetermined angle with respect to the seat cushion.

Recliner adjuster

A lifter for adjusting the height of a framethat is to be vertically movably mounted on a vehicle floor is integrally formed with a suspension unit S for absorbing vibration inputted to the frame. The suspension unit S includes a magnet unit or a magnetic fluid damper.

Frame structure of seat for vehicle

A recliner adjuster for appropriately adjusting an inclination of a seat back with respect to a seat cushion includes a worm gear rotatably mounted on the seat cushion and a helical gear mounted on the seat back via an auxiliary locking mechanism and held in engagement with the worm gear. During normal use, the seat back is held at a predetermined angle with respect to the seat cushion by the engagement of the helical gear with the worm gear. When a load greater than a predetermined value is inputted to the seat back, the auxiliary locking mechanism acts to hold the seat back at the predetermined angle with respect to the seat cushion.

The object of the present invention is to suppress rebound of a human body when receiving a large impact load accompanying a collision or the like. A back frame memberand a seat frame memberare individually formed by welding or caulking, and a link memberfor connecting both is attached to the back frame memberand the seat frame memberby welding or caulking. Each of the frame members is provided with a cushioning member as a tension structure. Upon receipt of an impact vibration or an impact force at a predetermined magnitude or more, the tension of the cushioning member provided as the tension structure lowers to be able to exhibit high damping characteristics.

Impact absorbing structure and seat structure

In order to improve vibration absorbency and impact absorbency, the seat structure includes a swing member provided in a manner to be able to swing at least back and forth on a rear frame member positioned around the rear of a seat cushion, a pelvis supporting member connected to the swing member at the vicinity of the lower portion of the pelvis supporting member and disposed behind the pelvis of a seated person, and coil springs as an elastic member to support the pelvis supporting member biasing in the direction pushing forwards in a normal seating state. Accordingly, vibration inputted from the seat back side and as if patting on the back of the human body can be absorbed by the pelvis supporting member supported elastically. Besides, since the pelvis supporting member is connected to the rear frame member via the swing member, since pivoting movement in the back-and-forth direction of the pelvis supporting member is performed with a connecting portion of the swing member and the rear frame member as the center, and the radius of gyration is large, the vicinity of the lower portion of the pelvis supporting member never presses the pelvis.

Seat structure

The objects of the present invention is to reduce a backlash at the time of locking of a seat back and to reduce clearance in the thrust direction of a worm so as to prevent generation of an abnormal noise with a simple structure suitable for mass production. Substantially cone-shaped recesses and are provided respectively on both end faces of the worm pivotably attached on a seat cushion, and inside end faces of a pair of holders and to support these two end portions, and at the same time balls are rotatably housed respectively in a pair of spaces formed in the recesses and facing each other to form a pair of bearings and which rotatably support the worm . A press means composed of a coil spring and the like which presses the worm to the worm wheel is provided in a locking mechanism.

A locking device is to be mounted on a bed of a truck or within an ambulance to lock or fasten goods on the bed or a stretcher within the ambulance. The locking device includes a frame, an operating handle rotatably mounted on the frame, a link mechanism connected to the operating handle and having a recess defined therein, a hook connected to the operating handle via the link mechanism, and a locking pin slidable relative to the operating handle. The hook is locked by introducing the locking pin into the recess and is unlocked by moving the locking pin apart from the recess.

Locking device

An automobile seat or recliner has a recliner adjuster for adjusting the inclination of a seat back relative to a seat cushion. The recliner adjuster is provided with a backlash reducing structure that includes a worm gear attached rotatably to the seat cushion, a sector gear fixed to the seat back and held in engagement with the worm gear, and a pressing member for pressing the sector gear to the worm gear to reduce backlash therebetween.

A stepless slide adjuster having a safety lock includes a first member and a second member, which can move relatively to each other, a nut fastened to the first member, a screw rotatably attached to the second member and screwed into the nut, a manual locking device for manually locking the screw, and an emergency locking device having a brake drum and brake shoes for emergency locking the screw. The lead angle of the nut and the screw is set to be larger than the friction angle between them. When the locking with the manual locking device is released, and the screw rotates with an acceleration or a speed that exceeds a predetermined value, then the brake shoes spread and frictionally engage the brake drum, thereby impeding a relative movement between the first member and the second member.

Stepless slide adjuster having a safety lock

A vibration isolator on which a stretcher is to be placed is provided with a locking mechanism for locking the vibration isolator. The locking mechanism is mounted on a movable frame of the vibration isolator, and includes a stationary portion and a movable portion mounted on the stationary portion so as to undergo a rocking motion at least in a vertical direction. The locking mechanism also includes first and second lock pins movable between a locking position and a locking release position, a link mechanism connected to the first and second lock pins, and an operation knob for operating the first and second lock pins via the link mechanism. When the operation knob is moved from the locking release position to the locking position, the link mechanism moves the first and second lock pins toward each other to sandwich a portion of the stationary portion therebetween, thereby locking the movable portion with respect to the stationary portion.

Locking mechanism for a vibration isolator

A vibration isolator is mounted on a floor of an ambulance and includes a lower frame movably mounted on the floor and an upper frame vertically movably mounted on the lower frame via a link mechanism. The vibration isolator also includes a plurality of magnetic springs interposed between the upper and lower frames and each having a plurality of permanent magnets with like magnetic poles opposed to each other. A vertical vibration of the upper frame is restrained by the plurality of magnetic springs, and the front side of the vibration isolator is lifted upon receipt of a forward acceleration.
