A film includes a cured resin layer (A) of a curable composition containing an active energy ray curable compound and a microparticle dispersed therein and a cured resin layer (B) of a curable composition containing an active energy ray curable compound and a microparticle dispersed therein laminated in order on at least one surface of a light-transmitting substrate film, wherein the total film thickness of layer (A) and layer (B) is 1 to 10 &#x3bc;m, a microparticle (a) having an average particle size of 0.5 to 10 &#x3bc;m is compounded in layer (A) in an amount of 0.5 to 60 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of an active energy ray curable compound, and a microparticle (b) having an average particle size which is less than an average particle size of the microparticle (a) is compounded in layer (B).

Glare-proofing and light-transmitting hard coat film

A film for optical applications which effectively prevents reflection of light on the surface of image display devices such as PDP, CRT and LCD, exhibits excellent scratch resistance and transmission of light, provides excellent adhesion between layers and can be produced at a low cost is disclosed. The film comprises (A) a high refractivity hard coat layer (the refractive index: 1.60 to 1.75, the thickness: 2 to 20 &#x3bc;m) comprising (a) an antimony-doped tin oxide having a needle shape (the average particle diameter along the major axis: 0.05 to 10 &#x3bc;m, the average aspect ratio: 3 to 100), (b) at least one other metal oxide and (c) a material cured with an ionizing radiation and (B) a low refractivity layer (the refractive index: 1.30 to 1.45, the thickness: 40 to 200 nm), which are successively laminated at least on one face of a substrate film.

Optical film

An anti-static hard coat film is easy to manufacture, has a high total light transmission, achieves favorable viewability for displayed images, and has a superior balance between an anti-static effect and a resistance to scratch. A hard coat layer made of an ionizing radiation-curable resin and an anti-static layer, which is about 0.03 to 2 &#x3bc;m thick and is made of ionizing radiation-curable resin that includes anti-static particles with an average particle diameter of about 0.01 to 2 &#x3bc;m, are formed in order on a base film, and the Taber abrasion resistance is set at 25 or below as measured in accordance with JIS K5400.

Anti-static hard coat film and method of manufacturing the same

A film for optical applications comprising (A) a hard coat layer which comprises a resin cured by an ionizing radiation, (B) a high refractivity layer I which comprises a resin cured by an ionizing radiation and a metal oxide and has a refractive index in a range of 1.70 to 1.95, (C) a high refractivity layer II which comprises a resin cured by an ionizing radiation and a metal oxide and has a refractive index in a range of 1.60 to 1.70 and (D) a low refractivity layer which comprises a siloxane-based polymer and has a refractive index in a range of 1.37 to 1.47, layers (A) to (D) having specific thicknesses and being successively laminated at least on one face of a substrate film. The film exhibits an excellent property for preventing reflection of light and excellent scratch resistance and can be produced at a low cost.

Film for optical applications

A film for optical applications comprising (A) a hard coat layer which comprises a metal oxide and a substance cured by heat or by an ionizing radiation and has a thickness in a range of 2 to 20 &#x3bc;m and (B) a low refractivity layer which comprises porous silica and a polysiloxane-based polymer and has a refractive index in a range of 1.30 to 1.45 and a thickness in a range of 40 to 200 nm, layers (A) and (B) being successively laminated at least on one face of a substrate film. The film exhibits an excellent property for preventing reflection of light and excellent scratch resistance and can be produced at a low cost.

Provided is a hard coat film which has an inorganic hard coat layer having excellent scratch resistance and weatherability and inhibited from generation of curling and which is particularly suited for sticking on outside faces of window glasses in lofty buildings. The hard coat film is prepared by laminating in order a primer layer and a hard coat layer comprising metal oxide particles and a cured matter of a silane compound on one face of a base material and further providing, if necessary, a coating layer having various functions on the above hard coat layer.

A film for optical applications comprising (A) a hard coat layer which comprises a resin cured by an ionizing radiation, (B) a high refractivity layer which comprises a resin cured by an ionizing radiation and at least two metal oxides comprising tin oxide doped with antimony and has a refractive index in a range of 1.65 to 1.80 and (C) a low refractivity layer which comprises a siloxane-based polymer and has a refractive index in a range of 1.37 to 1.47, layers (A) to (D) each having a specific thickness and being successively laminated at least on one face of a substrate film. The film exhibits an excellent property for preventing reflection of light and excellent scratch resistance and can be produced at a low cost.

A hard coat film is providend, having excellent resistance to impact and weather, and high surface hardness, which is suitable for being stuck on the external surfaces, e.g., those of window panes or plastic boards for windows. In the hard coat film, a silicon-base hard coat layer is provided on one side of a multi-layered base composed of a plurality of the same or different laminated resin films.

Very fine anti-glare hard coat film

An antifouling infrared shielding film comprising a transparent substrate film having, on one face thereof, at least an infrared shielding layer which comprises a cured product of a coating layer comprising (A) an ionizing radiation curing resin, (B) an infrared absorbent and (C) an ionizing radiation curing silicone resin in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the resin of the ionizing radiation curing resin of (A); and a process for producing an antifouling infrared shielding film comprising coating one face of a transparent substrate film with a coating agent comprising the component (A), the component (B) and the component (C) in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the component (A) to form a coating layer and curing the formed coating layer by irradiation of an ionizing radiation. The film is a highly functional film showing excellent transparency, scratch resistance and antifouling, and having desirable properties with respect of cleaning, slipping and infrared shielding. The film can be advantageously used for attaching to window panes.

Antifouling infrared shielding film and process for producing the same

A hard coat sheet comprises a transparent base sheet, and a radiation-curing acrylate coat layer including an antibacterial agent provided on the transparent base sheet. Thus, the hard coat sheet has excellent transparency and antibacterial property together with an excellent scratch resistance property.

Hard coat sheet containing an antibacterial agent

A hard coat sheet comprises a base sheet, and a coat layer which is provided on the base sheet and formed of a resin composition containing 0.1 to 100 parts by weight of a radiation-curing silicone resin based on 100 parts by weight of a multi-functional acrylate. Thus, the hard coat sheet has an anti-fouling property, an anti-glare property and an anti-bacterial property together with an excellent hard coat property.
