A magnesium aluminometasilicate coated composite powder which comprises magnesium aluminometasilicate, or magnesium aluminometasilicate and at least one other powder coated on a surface of a core powder and which is usable in, for example, a skin treatment agent, decodorant, and oral composition.

Magnesium aluminometasilicate coated composite powder and use thereof

A composite powder wherein an organic or inorganic core powder is substantially completely covered with one or more types of organic, inorganic, or metallic powders having an average particle size one-fifth or less of the average particle size of the above core powder by means of mixing and compression. The composite powder may be manufactured by mixing and compressing the above core powder and coating powder using a ball mill or other mixer charged with a ball shaped mixing medium of an average diameter of 5 mm or less. This composite powder may be used in, for example, skin treatment agent, makeup type cosmetics, sunburn preventing cosmetics, deodorants.

Composite powder and production process

A fingernail cosmetic composition containing at least one resin and at least one organic solvent, characterized by incorporating therein water and a water-incorporating compound having at least one hydrophilic moiety and at least one lipophilic moiety, and, if desired, a moisturizing agent and a fragrance-maintaining agent.

A cosmetic suitable for application to the skin (such as eye-shadow, rouge and pressed face powder) is formed by mixing differently colored pigment compositions with binders to form differently colored grains, intermixing the grains and compression-moulding them into a compact, but without destroying the grain structure thereof. The differently colored grains may then separately or simultaneously be applied to the skin with a puff.
