A storage control system reads a data set from a storage apparatus if necessary in response to an I/O request. A data set contains data and an address. The storage control system performs an all-type address check which is a check to determine whether one of a first address and second address which correspond to a read-target data set in address translation information, which is information indicating a mapping relationship between one or more first addresses and one or more second addresses, matches the address among the data and address contained in the data set. The one or more first addresses are each an address which belongs to the first address type. The one or more second addresses are each an address which belongs to the second address type. The storage control system performs processing according to the I/O request when the result of the all-type address check is true.

Storage control system and storage control method

An endoscope device has an endoscope provided with a front end portion where a nozzle and a sucking opening are formed. A first passage and a fluid supply pump are connected to the nozzle to supply fluid to it. A second passage and a suction pump are connected to the sucking opening. Connected to the first and second passages are a third passage and a pump for circulating the fluid in such a way that it is sucked through the sucking opening and jetted through the nozzle.

Endoscope device

This endoscope apparatus adapted to meter NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) is provided with an endoscope having a channel and an NMR metering probe insertable through the channel. The endoscope has an elongate insertable part having an observing window and illuminating window in the tip part, an observing system for observing an object to be imaged by receiving a light from the object entering through the observing window, an illuminating light output system emitting an illuminating light through the illuminating window and a hollow channel formed within the insertable part and opening in the tip part. Preferably, at least the tip side of the insertable part if formed of a non-ferromagnetic characteristic material. The NMR metering probe has a signal transmitting member insertable through the channel of the endoscope, connected at one end to the NMR metering apparatus and able to transmit high frequency signals and a loop-like antenna part connected to the other end of the signal transmitting member and projected out of the opening of the channel.

Endoscope apparatus

The radioactive ray detecting therapeutic apparatus of the present invention has an insertable part to be inserted toward an affected part. A therapeutic apparatus for treating the affected part, and a radioactive ray detecting apparatus for detecting radioactive rays discharged out of the affected part and providing signals by which to direct the therapeutic apparatus to the affected part, are provided in the tip part of the insertable part.

Radioactive ray detecting therapeutic apparatus

A radioactive ray detecting endoscope comprises an elongated insertable part, an ultrasonic imaging apparatus provided in the tip part of the insertable part for transmitting ultrasonic waves toward an observed part, for receiving echoes from the observed part by these ultrasonic waves, and for outputting a signal for forming an ultrasonic image and a radioactive ray detecting apparatus arrangeable in the tip part of the insertable part for detecting radioactive rays. Preferably, the observing direction of the ultrasonic imaging apparatus and the detecting direction of the radioactive ray detecting apparatus substantially coincide with each other.

Radioactive ray detecting endoscope

A medical treatment device for resecting, e.g., a prostate or breaking a bladder stone, which includes a vibrator for generating ultrasonic vibrations, a horn connected to the vibrator, a casing for accommodating the vibrator and the horn, a probe connected to the front portion of the horn to transmit ultrasonic vibrations generated by the vibrator, and a power source unit for supplying a drive voltage to the vibrator, the power source unit having an oscillator for producing a wave having a frequency for vibrating the probe and a frequency switching circuit for selecting an oscillating frequency at which the distal end of the probe serves as a loop of vibration or a frequency at which the distal end of the probe serves as a node of vibration.

Medical treatment device utilizing ultrasonic wave

This NMR metering endoscope apparatus is provided with an endoscope body and an NMR metering loop-like antenna. The endoscope body is provided with an elongate insertable part having an observing window and illuminating window in the tip part an observing system for observing an object by receiving a light coming from the object and entering through the observing window and an illuminating light outputting system emitting an illuminating light out of the illuminating window. The NMR metering antenna is fitted to the outer periphery including the tip surface of the insertable part of the endoscope body and can be connected to the NMR metering apparatus.

A laser beam irradiation apparatus comprising a laser generating device, a laser beam irradiation probe for applying a laser beam from the laser generating device to a region of an object of irradiation, an ultrasonic transmitter/receiver for emitting ultrasonic waves toward the region to which the laser beam is applied by the probe, receiving reflected waves from the irradiated region, and converting the reflected waves into an electrical signal, a measuring device for measuring the temperature of the irradiated region in accordance with the electrical signal from the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver, and an output adjuster for adjusting the output of the laser generating device in accordance with a temperature signal from the measuring device.

Laser beam treatment device for an endoscope

In a probe for observing an ultrasonic image, which obtains the ultrasonic image of an object to be observed such as a body cavity by means of an ultrasonic transmitting and receiving means, a mechanical scanning operation of the ultrasonic transmitting and receiving means is performed by an ultrasonic driving means, and thus it is possible to obtain a good diagnosis image with no distortion and no flicker because noises of the driving means can be reduced. Therefore, an ultrasonic endoscope system and an ultrasonic video endoscope system etc. which utilize the probe mentioned above can display a good ultrasonic image and a good optical image.

Ultrasonic observation system and an ultrasonic endoscope system

An endoscope includes a connector portion attached to a universed cord of the endoscope, a gas feed tube and a liquid feed tube each connected at one end to a liquid feed tank, and an insertion member provided at the other ends of the gas feed tube and the liquid feed tube and capable of being attached to and detached from the connector portion. A movable member is provided at the connector portion and is capable of taking a first position in which a gas feed passage and a liquid feed passage of the endoscope communicate with the gas feed tube and the liquid feed tube, respectively, when the connector portion is connected to the insertion member, and a second position in which the gas feed passage and the liquid feed passage are disconnected from the gas feed tube and the liquid feed tube, respectively, and the liquid feed passage communicates with an air pump, when the insertion member is removed from the connector portion. Accordingly the interior of the liquid feed tank is pressurized by the air pump and a liquid in the tank is fed into the liquid feed passage through the liquid feed tube when the connector portion and the insertion member are connected, and gas is fed from the air pump directly into the liquid feed passage to discharge residual liquid when the insertion member is removed from the connector portion.
