A circuit board laminate includes a metal substrate, an insulation layer disposed on the metal substrate, and a metal foil disposed on the insulation layer. A metal-based circuit board includes a metal substrate, an insulation layer disposed on the metal substrate, and a circuit pattern disposed on the insulation layer. The insulation layer contains a liquid crystal polyester and 50% by volume or more of an inorganic filler. The inorganic filler is made of boron nitride and at least one of aluminum nitride and aluminum oxide. A proportion of boron nitride in the inorganic filler is within a range of 35 to 80% by volume.

A bush- and bracket-integrated stabilizer bar includes a stabilizer bar, a rubber bush attached to an outer periphery of the stabilizer bar, and a bracket configured to mount the stabilizer bar to a bottom of a vehicle body with the rubber bush intervened. The stabilizer bar has amine-based curable epoxy paint or amine-containing cationic paint and a surface treatment layer containing a halogen donor-based surface treatment agent on the paint. The rubber bush has a surface treatment layer containing a halogen donor-based surface treatment agent on an inner surface thereof. A thermosetting epoxy adhesive layer containing an amine-based or an organic hydrazide-based curing agent and a bisphenol type epoxy resin is formed between the stabilizer bar and the rubber bush.

Multichannel array waveguide diffraction grating multiplexer/demultiplexer and method of connecting array waveguide and output waveguide

An optical waveguide circuit component according to the present invention is characterized by that a clad layer composed of quartz is provided on the surfaces of a substrate and core formed by quartz doped selectively on a quartz plate structure, and a lid or a cover member is fixed onto the clad layer by heat pressing. With this structure, it is possible to reduce the magnitude of a polarization-dependent loss (PDL) generated when the lid and clad layer are combined.

Optical waveguide circuit component and method of manufacturing the same

Proposed is a method for fabricating a planar optical waveguide device having a plurality of core segments formed between a lower clad layer and an upper clad layer, in which a hot isostatic pressing process (HIP) is carried out during the fabrication process. The lower clad layer may consist of a substrate or a buffer layer formed on a substrate. Each layer may be formed either by a low-temperature film-forming process such as CVD or by the flame hydrolysis pressing process. The HIP process is also effective in eliminating voids when the core is formed in a recess of the lower clad layer. According to the tests conducted by the inventors, it was found that the HIP process can be conducted without requiring any protective layer or a gas barrier through proper selection of the condition for the HIP process, as opposed to the common belief that a protective layer or a gas barrier is essential for the HIP process.
