A first annular frame is formed on the bottom surface of an engine cover. A mount rubber of columnar shape is inserted into the first annular frame. Projections of the mount rubber are fitted into holes of the first annular frame. A through hole is formed in the mount rubber. An engagement projection is formed on the inner surface of the through hole. An adapter has a small-diameter part formed in the vicinity of the top end and a predetermined distance away from the top end toward the root thereof. The adapter has a flange formed below the smaller-diameter part. The top end part of the adapter is inserted into the through hole of the mount rubber to fit the engagement projection into the small-diameter part and bring the flange into abutment on the bottom surface of the mount rubber.

Joint structure between members

An intake manifold is assembled from a near manifold component which is positioned near an engine, a far manifold component which is positioned far from the engine and a middle manifold component which is positioned between the near and far manifold components. The near manifold component includes first path-forming parts forming the lower parts of the intake paths. The middle manifold component includes second path-forming parts which are joined on and vibration-welded to the first path-forming parts. The middle manifold component further includes third path-forming parts which extend in the vertical direction in a curve. Further, the far manifold component includes fourth path-forming parts which are vibration-welded to the third path-forming parts.

Resin intake manifold for multicylinder engine

A first half part includes a second raised portion and a third raised portion respectively on the inner side of the hollow body and on the outer side of the hollow body with respect to a first raised portion, the second raised portion and the third raised portion being separated from the first raised portion with a spacing and being lower than the first raised portion. A second half part includes a third raised portion on the outer side of the hollow body with respect to a first raised portion, the third raised portion being separated from the first raised portion with a spacing and being lower than the first raised portion. An internal member includes a second raised portion on the inner side of the hollow body with respect to a first raised portion, the second raised portion being separated from the first raised portion with a spacing and being lower than the first raised portion. As a result, there is provided a high quality hollow body that can be provided at low cost and is cosmetically appealing.

Coupling structure for a hollow body

A resin intake manifold includes a chamber section having an intake air inlet pipe , and a plurality of outlet pipes which connect cylinders of an internal combustion engine to the chamber section . The resin intake manifold is made by coupling half-parts A and B of divided halves of the chamber section and the outlet pipes divided along a direction of the pipe axis. The outlet pipes are connected to the chamber section so that the external wall of the outlet pipes on the side of an end is integral with the external wall of the chamber section . Further, the outlet pipes extend from the chamber section along a direction of the pipe axis, and are curved to extend in a direction away from the chamber section with a curve angle in a range of not smaller than 90&deg; and not larger than 180&deg;, and continuously extend away from the chamber section
