In a vehicle power supply system including a battery, an inverter unit for converting DC electric power of the battery into AC electric power and supplying it to a rotating electric machine to drive it, an AC wiring line for connecting the rotating electric machine and the inverter unit, and a DC wiring line for connecting the inverter unit and the battery, the inverter unit is placed in a vicinity of the battery so that the DC wiring line becomes shorter than the AC wiring line. By this, a voltage drop due to the DC wiring line is reduced, and a torque characteristic of the rotating electric machine can be improved.

Vehicle power supply system

An inverter unit is provided with: a case for housing a circuit board on which switching elements, diodes, and a capacitor are mounted; and a heat sink constructed integrally with the case. The inverter unit is mounted to an upper portion of the rotary electric machine by fixing the case to a mounting plate mounted to a boss. In addition, the inverter unit is electrically connected to three phase output terminals projecting out of a rear bracket by means of alternating-current wiring, and is electrically connected to a battery by means of direct-current wiring.

Automotive electric motor-generator apparatus

The electric rotating machine includes a rotor and an armature. The rotor consists of a cylindrical part having a field winding and a claw-pole shaped magnetic pole part. A magnetic short-circuit mechanism is disposed between the magnetic pole parts adjacent each other in circumferential direction of a rotor core so as to cause a magnetic plate of a material of high magnetic permeability to move toward radial direction of the rotor core, thereby short-circuiting between N-pole and S-pole of a permanent magnet due to centrifugal force acting in accordance with rotation of the rotor.

Electric rotating machine

A rotating electric machine for vehicles is capable of improving a cooling performance of switching elements forming an inverter module, and small-sizing the entire rotating electric machine. The rotating electric machine includes: a stator; a rotor, a cooling fan; a front bracket and a rear bracket; and a cover; and in which a pair of switching elements are disposed axially adjacent to each other between the rear bracket and the cover; a ventilation hole for sucking an outside air is formed on an axial wall of the cover; and by rotation of the cooling fan, the outside air flows from the ventilation hole with respect to the switching elements, and goes through a suction port and is discharged through a discharge port.

Rotating electric machine for vehicles

The control apparatus-integrated generator-motor has: a generator-motor; and a control apparatus that is constituted by an inverter, a control circuit, a temperature sensor, etc. The control circuit determines whether or not switching element temperature will exceed the maximum permissible temperature when a command for an automatic engine stopping operation is issued. Then, if it is determined that the maximum permissible temperature will be exceeded, generated output of the generator-motor is reduced immediately before the automatic engine stopping operation in such a way that the switching element temperature will not exceed the maximum permissible temperature. The engine is subsequently stopped automatically.

Control apparatus-integrated generator-motor

Provided is a rotating electrical machine including an armature core on which an armature winding is wound; a rotor core which is supported by a rotation axis at a predetermined air gap in an inner diameter side of the armature core, and includes claw-shaped magnetic pole portions in which adjacent magnetic poles have different poles and a cylindrical portion having a field winding; and a permanent magnet which is provided in a magnetic circuit of the rotor core and supplies magnetic flux to the armature core with the field winding, wherein a magnetic short-circuiting mechanism for demagnetizing the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet by deforming a portion of the magnetic short-circuiting mechanism by a centrifugal force and short-circuiting between the magnetic pole portions of the rotor core is provided in the rotor core.

Rotating electrical machine

[Problem] In a vehicular rotating electrical machine apparatus mounted in an electric vehicle or a hybrid electric vehicle, a rotating electrical machine apparatus in which a rotating electrical machine and an inverter unit to control the rotating electrical machine are integrated is miniaturized, and its torque characteristic and efficiency are improved. [Means for Resolution] Since an inverter unitis cooled by cooling air forcibly formed by a cooling fan, the inverter unitis efficiently cooled. Then, heat radiating finsandof heat sinksandcan be miniaturized, and consequently, the inverter unitis miniaturized, and mountability of the inverter unitto a rear bracketis improved. Further, since the inverter unitand a rotating electrical machineare cooled by the cooling air formed by the cooling fan, the cooling medium of the inverter unitis used also as the cooling medium (cooling air) of the rotating electrical machine, and a cooling structure is simplified.

Vehicular rotating electrical machine apparatus

A rotating electric machine for vehicles is capable of improving a cooling performance of switching elements forming an inverter module, and small-sizing the entire rotating electric machine. An inverter-integrated electrical rotating machine is provided in which each switching device of an inverter and power wiring and control wiring for connecting them can be highly protected electrically and mechanically while the cooling property of the switching devices can be improved. Cooling air flows led in from cooling air flow suction holes in an end wall of an inverter case simultaneously flow in parallel from the cooling air flow suction holes on inner and outer sides in the radial direction. The cooling air flows then penetrate an inverter device in an axial direction through an outer circumferential cooling air passage formed by an outer circumferential lateral plate part and an inner circumference of the inverter case and an inner circumferential cooling air passage formed between an inner circumferential lateral plate part and a cover surrounding a rotary shaft. The cooling air flows are then led into a motor housing from a cooling air flow suction hole of the housing.

Inverter-integrated electrical rotating machine

A transmission gear for an automobile includes a dynamo-electric machine operating as a motor and a generator, a dynamo-electric machine control device, a dynamo-electric machine pulley, an auxiliary machine pulley, a crank pulley rotatable relative to or integrally with the crank shaft, a sun gear coupled to the crank pulley, planetary gears each rotatable and revolvable along an outer periphery of the sun gear, a carrier for supporting the planetary gear rotatably and revolvably and connected to the crank shaft, an internal gear meshing with the planetary gear, an electromagnetic clutch for changing over the internal gear between restrained and unrestrained states, an electromagnetic clutch changeover control device, and a one-way clutch provided between the internal gear and the carrier.

Transmission gear apparatus for motor vehicle

Belt drive system

A rotating electrical machine for a vehicle is capable of improving the acceleration performance and the fuel mileage of the vehicle while achieving the prevention of occurrence of overvoltage and the improvement of its power generation characteristic at the same time. The machine includes an armature having an armature core and an armature winding wound around the armature core for generating an output voltage to charge a battery; a rotor having a rotor core with a field winding wound therearound, and permanent magnets for supplying magnetic flux to the armature core; and a voltage control section that adjust the output voltage of the armature by controlling the field current based on the value of an output voltage of the armature winding and the value and the direction of flow of the field current flowing through the field winding.

The power transmission control device includes: an electric rotating machine; a crank pulley; a planetary gear mechanism consisting of a sun gear, a planetary gearand an internal gear; and controllerfor controlling an electromagnetic clutch. The electromagnetic clutchis ON to operate the planetary gear mechanism as a speed increasing mechanism and drive the electric rotating machineat an increasing speed, when engine speed of the internal combustion engineis not higher than a predetermined value, remaining capacity of the batteryis not more than a predetermined level or electrical load is in a high-load state.
