A vehicle outer plate panel includes: a transparent resin plate that is formed into a prescribed shape through pressure molding and is attached to a vehicle so as to constitute an outer wall of a body; and a decorative layer that is formed on at least a part of the transparent resin plate through screen printing such that the transparent resin plate is decorated therewith. A method of producing an vehicle outer plate panel is also disclosed.

Vehicle outer plate panel and method for manufacturing vehicle outer plate panel

A vehicular outer panel is provided that is capable of displaying an image or a video which is easily viewed even outdoors under direct sunlight for people outside the vehicle. The vehicular outer panel includes: a transparent plate that is attached to a vehicle and constitutes an outer wall of a vehicle body; and a reflective display unit that is provided on an inner surface, in the inside/outside direction of the vehicle, of the transparent plate and is capable of displaying an image or a video for people outside the vehicle.

Vehicular display system

A vehicular display system is provided that is capable of achieving both display performance of images or videos and viewability as a window in a non-display mode. The vehicular display system includes: a window that is a transparent plate mounted on a vehicle; a liquid crystal unit that is arranged on the inner surface, in the inside/outside direction of the vehicle, of the window and has changeable levels of transparency; a projector that projects images or videos onto the liquid crystal unit; and a control unit that controls the liquid crystal unit and the projector, wherein the control unit controls the projector in a state of the liquid crystal unit being translucent, to cause the projector to project images or videos onto the liquid crystal unit.

In a vehicle body side portion structure, a center pillar includes an upper pillar section joined to a roof side rail and a lower pillar section joined to a side sill, the upper pillar section including a metallic pipe having a high-strength steel plate, has a substantially constant cross-sectional shape, and is convexly curved outwardly in a vehicle width direction, the lower pillar section is formed by two pressed components including a steel plate having lower strength than the steel plate of the hollow metallic pipe of the upper pillar section and are joined to each other into a closed cross-sectional shape, and the upper pillar section is joined to the two pressed components such that the lower edge part of the upper pillar section is inserted within a section configured by the two pressed components of the lower pillar section and having the closed cross-sectional shape.

Vehicle body side portion structure

A structure for a front portion of an automobile body includes a bulkhead side, which is joined to a front portion of a front side frame extending in the fore-and-aft direction extends in the vertical direction, and a side frame gusset, which provides a connection between the front portions of the front side frame and a wheel house upper member. The bulkhead side and the side frame gusset are joined by a linking panel having a right-angled triangle shape when viewed from the front within a plane perpendicular to an axis in the fore-and-aft direction. When a load is applied for relatively moving the front side frame, the side frame gusset and the wheel house upper member supporting the load by a shear force of the linking panel disposed within the plane enhance the rigidity of a front portion of a vehicle body and minimize any increase in weight.

In a seat-receiving structure for a vehicle, seats are mounted on a floor surface within a vehicle room, and are arranged in a forward-rearward direction, and a seat-receiving recess is formed in and extends downwardly from a floor surface disposed rearwardly of the rearmost-row seat, and the rearmost-row seat can be folded in such a manner that a seat back thereof is brought down forwardly to be laid on a seat cushion thereof, and the folded seat can be turned rearwardly about rotation shafts to be received in the seat-receiving recess. The floor surface, in which the seat-receiving recess is formed, is disposed at a level higher than a foot-resting floor surface for the rearmost-row seat. The rotation shafts on the seat cushion of the rearmost-row seat are disposed at a level which is lower than the floor surface , in which the seat-receiving recess is formed, and also is lower than an upper side of the receiving recess.

Seat-receiving structure for vehicle

A fuel cylinder attaching structure in a motorcar can cope with a large expansive deformation of the fuel cylinder and fixedly support the fuel cylinder surely. The structure comprises a pair of front and rear supporting frame members fixed on a car-body; a fixing band fixed to the front and rear supporting frame members, wound round the fuel cylinder; and both ends of the fixing band connected to each other with a spring interposed, positioned on a vertical bisection of a line segment extending between the front and rear attach-supporting sections.

A fuel cylinder for storing a compressed fuel gas is modularized for mounting and supporting the fuel cylinder easily in a motorcar without reconstructing a conventional car-body and necessitating troublesome fuel pipe arranging work after mounting the fuel cylinder. The modularized fuel cylinder comprises a supporting frame fixed to the fuel cylinder, fuel pipes neighboring the fuel cylinder and a joint box on which the fuel pipes concentrate attached to the supporting frame integrally. The fuel cylinder module is detachably fixed to a car-body side supporting frame provided on a rear floor of the motorcar.

Fuel cylinder mounting structure in motorcar

In a motorcar having a compressed fuel cylinder charged with a compressed fuel disposed in a compartment, pipes connected to the fuel cylinder within the compartment are connected to a joint unit penetrating a partition wall partitioning the compartment from an outside and the joint unit is connected to pipes connected to an internal combustion engine and the like out of the compartment. A fuel charge passage, a fuel supply passage and a relief passage in a cylinder cap of the fuel cylinder and a fuel charge passage, a fuel supply passage and a relief passage in an interior side of the joint unit are connected with each other through an interior charge pipe, and interior supply pipe and an interior fuel relief pipe, respectively. A fuel charge pipe, a fuel supply pipe and a relief pipe out of the compartment are connected to a fuel charge passage, a fuel supply passage and a relief passage in an exterior side of the joint unit. The interior fuel charge pipe, the interior fuel supply pipe and the interior fuel relief pipe are covered by a seal cover airtightly. A fuel leakage inspection is conducted by comparing gas pressures at two different times after fuel charging in the piping outside the compartment.
