A laser radar device of the present invention includes: an optical oscillator oscillating laser light; an optical modulator modulating the laser light oscillated by the optical oscillator; an optical antenna radiating the laser light modulated by the optical modulator to an atmosphere, and receiving scattered light from a radiation target as received light; an optical receiver performing heterodyne detection on the received light received by the optical antenna; and a signal processor calculating for a range bin a spectrum of a received signal obtained by the heterodyne detection by the optical receiver, calculating a signal to noise ratio of the range bin, and integrating the spectrum of the range bin and spectra of one or more range bins adjacent to the range bin when the signal to noise ratio is less than or equal to a threshold value.

Laser radar device

An optical transmission unit () transmits an optical signal having a light intensity set as a Low level component of a pulse. An optical partial reflector () is provided on a path through which transmission light is transmitted from a circulator () to the atmosphere, and reflects the optical signal. A detection unit () performs coherent detection on reception light using, as local light, a signal in a Low level section in the optical signal reflected by the optical partial reflector ().

A lidar apparatus includes a foreign matter detector detecting foreign matter hindering laser light and reflected light from passing through the light transmission window, based on at least one of the measurement success or failure result and the signal-to-noise ratio; a precipitation determiner determining whether precipitation, included in the foreign matter, exists on the external surface of the light transmission window based on a time elapsed since the latest wiper operation, when the foreign matter detector detects the foreign matter, and that the precipitation does not exist, when the foreign matter detector does not detect the foreign matter. When the precipitation determiner determines that precipitation exists, the wiper operation controller causes the wiper to operate and the washer fluid supplier not to operate. When the precipitation determiner does not determine that precipitation exists while the foreign matter detector detects that foreign matter exists, the wiper operation controller causes the washer fluid supplier and the wiper to operate.
