A communication device includes: an inputter that inputs a USB (Universal Serial Bus) signal from an input device; an acquirer that acquires an EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) signal from a monitor; an instructor that gives an instruction to output the EDID signal to another communication device; a switch that selectively switches a first route for outputting the acquired EDID signal to the another communication device and a second route for outputting the inputted USB signal to the another communication device; and a controller that controls the switch so as to switch from the second route to the first route in accordance with the instruction from the instructor.

Communication device

A communication device includes: a first and a second connectors that are connectable to an external device via a first and a second cables, respectively; a detector that detects attachment and detachment of the second cable to the second connector; and a controller that communicates information on attachment and detachment of the second cable to the external device via the first cable, changes a communication mode from a first mode to a second mode when the second cable is attached to the second connector, and changes the communication mode from the second mode to the first mode when the second cable is detached from the second connector, the first mode being a mode in which the controller communicates with the external device via the first cable, and the second mode being a mode in which the controller communicates with the external device via the first and the second cables.

Data transmission system and data communication device

An electronic apparatus includes a display, a display controller that displays an image on the display in accordance with an image signal input from outside, a first power supply unit that coverts an alternating-current power into a first power having a first voltage, and supplies the first power to the display, a shutoff unit that shuts off the alternating-current power being supplied to the first power supply unit, based on the image signal, and a second power supply unit that converts the alternating-current power into a second power having a second voltage, and supplies the second power to the display controller and the shutoff unit.

Electronic apparatus with display and display controller

A repeater device that is placed between a transmission device connected to a server device and a reception device connected to a console device that controls the server device. The repeater device repeats a signal between the transmission device and the reception device, and includes an equalizer amplifier that amplifies a signal that is received from the transmission device or another repeater device.
