A solar simulator includes a light source having an optical axis linearly elongated, a feed means for feeding a long continuous film-shaped irradiation object, and a position regulating means for regulating the long continuous film-shaped irradiation object in position to surround the light source so that a center of the long continuous film-shaped irradiation object is coaxial with the optical axis. The long continuous film-shaped irradiation object regulated in position is irradiated with light from the light source.

Solar simulator

A coil component includes a bobbin having a core part and a flange. The flange has a first surface on a first side and a second surface on a second side. The first surface of the flange is attached to an axial end of the core part. An end of a wire is electrically connected to a metallic terminal of a terminal-mounting member disposed on the flange. The flange is formed with a notch at a position near the terminal-mounting member, and the notch extends from a peripheral edge of the flange toward the core part. A segment of the wire near the end thereof extends from the second side to the first side of the flange through the notch and further to the core part, and this segment of the wire is hooked around the wire-supporting member in the notch.

Coil component having wire-support member

The transformer includes a bobbin, a plurality of terminal electrode, a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a hook part. The bobbin includes a core portion extending in an axial direction, and terminal bases fixed at both ends of the core portion in the axial direction. The plurality of terminal electrode regions is provided on the terminal bases. Each terminal electrode region is provided with a wire connection part. The primary coil comprises a plurality of primary wires. The secondary coil comprises a plurality of secondary wires. The hook part is disposed between the core portion and one of the terminal electrode regions and configured to hook at least one of the primary wires and the secondary wires.

Transformer

A coil unit including an annular toroidal core, two coils wound over the toroidal core providing a bifilar winding, a winding-start positioning part, and a winding-end positioning part. The winding-start positioning part is adapted for making contact with a winding-start portion of the coils. The winding-end positioning part is adapted for making contact with a winding-end portion of the coils for regulating the positions of the winding-start portion and the winding-end portion relative to the toroidal core.

Coil unit

Each terminal electrode has a welded portion at which each end portion of a conducting wire is electrically connected to each terminal electrode upon laser welding. The conducting wire is provided with an insulation coating. The insulation layer has an edge on the surface of the conducting wire. Each welded portion has a bulge portion bulging in a direction away from the core and in contact with only the edge of the insulation coating. The edge determines a shape position and size of a melted bulge portion.

Coil component

A coil component including a connection part not excessively welded to a terminal electrode. End portion of a conducting wire of a common mode filter is laser-welded, while being held by a holding piece and a surface of the terminal electrode. A portion melted by laser-welding includes a bulge portion which bulges in a direction away from a core. There is provided a lower insulation covering portion between a foundation and the portion corresponding to the end portion of the conducting wire. For the bulge portion, the lower insulation covering portion is provided only between the foundation and the portion corresponding to the end portion of the conducting wire, thereby preventing excessive welding to a terminal electrode.
